How long have you spinning the decks for? 8 years

What originally hooked you into the DJing scene? A bunch of my friends were starting out house djs, and were terrible. I figured "someone's gotta be better at this" and gave it a go.

Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it? A rare breaks remix of a Coldplay track. Rare until it was re-released, anyway. Paid $95 USD

What events have you played at?
Gosh, you name it. Fashion shows, hair salons, art galleries, restaurants, lounges, raves, clubs, breaks competitions, skate shows, weddings, i've had tons of residencies over the years across Canada, won the Ottawa High Noon Champion DJ title

What National / International clubnights have you played at?
I've played in St. John's, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Mexico City and a bunch of little towns between.

Have you got any DJing horror stories?
Played a gig at Aria in Montreal, was playing right after a live PA by Uberzone. They finished their set 10 minutes early - as i was one foot into the booth, record bag on my shoulder. Dead silence in the venue. Had to throw on a record fast, didn't notice the first tables set up was out of commission, and had to mix from one table to another set-up halfway across the booth. I was running back & forth... it must have looked mental.

Are you a resident DJ, if so where?

Don't judge a book by it's cover! I might not look like your typical junglist, but I love the music through & through, and am often the first person to hit the dancefloor in my favorite kicks - adidas superstars. Watch your toes. I'm a professional matchmaker by day, and i'll kick your ass at NHL2k7. I don't eat meat. I will stop to pet your dog. I'm extremely friendly and only bite on occasion...

sorry grrl, forgot to respond to this. The shoot was with a guy named Louie Lappa in North Van, and the hairstylist/makeup artists' name was an obviously uber-talented girl named Venus!
