About 3 years now. Its funny though, because about 3 1/2 years ago, I had no idea how to even put a record on a turntable! What originally hooked you into the DJing scene? I've always had a passion for music, and a musical background to boot. I went to my first party and thought that it would be a lot more fun if I was up there, being the one making people dance. What type of music do you specialize in? Breaks, Speed garage and I dabble in a little DnB. I'm all over the board with Breaks. I LOVE the grimey sound of nu skool, I can dig some funk, and some progressive can really get me going sometimes, and good speed garage, well... it just makes me melt. =P Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it? I havent really paid that much for vinyl, I am really good at finding deals I guess. But if I would have to guess, probably $20. What is your most treasured record and why? I have a few, but the one that popped to the top of my head is Hybrid - Burnin' :: its a killer track and the salt'n'peppa vocal sample gets the point across I managed to snag that one for $5 (0.0)!!! Have you got any DJing horror stories? Getting stuck in a side room with two numark TT-100s (the probably were belt driven, who knows, they had NO torque)and they came up only to mid thigh, NO monitor, a crappy numark mixer and a blown speaker. It was an amazing night, let me tell you. Are you a resident DJ, if so where? I dont like commitments, I play all over, hehe. Any other information? I LOVE to dance! I've got a killer boyfriend that I get to play records with sometimes too! Do you produce as well as DJ? I'm learning how to, I have a LOT of ideas in my head and I just need to learn the programs so I am able to let them out! What do you like the most about DJing? "The Nod." Just kidding! I love seeing people groove to my music, I have the best time spinning, I love music, its amazing, and its such a release for me, almost theraputic. I know how amazing it feels to just dance and forget everything else and be in the present moment, and its great that I'm able to create that release for other people. What does your DJ name signify?
