cheeseburger is on a distinguished road
First Summerlove review

Arrived 5:30PM.
Parking lot semi full, expected parking to be a mess, started to worry.

Parked car.
Within 3 minutes more then 8 guys on bikes asked me if i needed a ticket.

Walking towards the small line-up i tripped and stumbled a wee bit. When i reached the back of the lineup a security guard pulled me aside.

"So ehh buddy... So like how much have you had allready?" - asked the security guard with the biggest grin
"Err - what?"
"No i saw you back there, come on, how much did you have?"
"Sorry ICP security man i didn't do any drugs"
"Yeah, i wasn't talking about drugs"
"Yeah anyways, i'll talk to you later" walked off to get frisked by another ICP security guard.

It would have taken about 2 minutes to go through security without super heros like him.

So I Walked in.
Saw 2 stages with about 20-40 people at each stage.
Saw a small skatepark (halfpipe)

Walked through the doors of stadium
"Holly shit, poor Rich.."

There were small groups of people everywhere, but the staidum wasn't as full as i thought it would be. There was a bigger gathering to the stage to the right, but the main hiphop stage was very empty.

Walked around, saw the following things within 20 minutes;
-sketchy people
-people going hardcore off to azim playing "Miss jane - fine night"
-very high people
-an understanding that sunglasses should have been mandatory
-the people that did have sunglasses had some amazing ones
-very very high people
-2 KICK ASS house stages with live sax(w00t w00t)
-overpacked beer garden, there were more peeps there then on 2 of the stages put together
-a huge line for beer that never moved(not the ticket line, the actual beer line)
-Ron Jeremy "I am an example, look at me, anyone can get laid"
-alot of sheets on the ground protecting the grass
-alot of people tripping trying on the sheets
-sketchy people
-lots of smiles =)
-lots of funky hats
-lots of crazy hair
-overall not that bad of a vibe =)

The biggest thing that was just weird at first was the daylight.
It felt like the morning of a party, so weeeeiiiiiird.

For the next 2 hours I walked around checking out each stage.
There was some awesome house, both stages were fab!!

Kenny Glasgow was interesting, he threw down some s i c k shit!

By this time, things had picked up dramatically. There seemed to be a small buzz going around, Erick was getting his headphones out...

I basically made the trip out to T-bird stadium for Robbie Rivera & Erick Morillo. I was extremely disapointed when i realized that Robbie Rivera wasn't going to play. It didn't really matter b/c Erick fricken rocked the stage....

People were going nuts, it was soo fun to watch.
Crazy buildups, crazy mixing, crazy basslines.
It's no wonder why Sublimnal is doing soo well, he knows good music.

Top notch performance!

Walked over to the packed hip hop stage to see Mr rectangle.

I was pretty impressed and i wanted to watch more but House was calling!!

To summarize, i had a great time. I didn't know too many people there, but it wouldn't really matter. The music was sick, it wasn't too packed, there was a beer garden, good tunes, people going off, and a lil bit of a vibe(got better as it got dark)

Thanks for bringing Erick Morillo

Yeah I was pissed that Robbie Rivera didnt play seeing as he spins similar shit to what I do. But HOLY SHIT did Eric Morillo rawk! Man he played some sick SICK shit (well atleast for the first 2/3 of his set), especially Who Da Funk - Shiny Disco Balls (just found out the name today!), holy shit i cant wait until it gets released!!! Anyways I thought it was an OK party, it picked up at the end, but the whole daylight thing really sucked i thought... and i missed the afterparty because of K-pryde! For fucks sake martin learn how to handle alcohol u stupid bitch!!!! =)
