Well I got alot of things to say about this party so I'll start at the beginging of the night when Kevin phones me up at 7:00pm and tells me if he can't use my decks the party is -ucked. So me being the generous guy I am says what the hell it would suck to see you cancel your party over that. Then he says "bad news the second room has been cancelled, but don't worry your set has been moved to the front room from 3-4. I say OK. So far so good.
He comes and picks me up and we set everything up, still good. Then I realize at about 1:30 that the line up is getting skrewed cause everyone was a little late or something. I don't exactly know what happened but it did. James Steele wound up starting his set at 2:45am and going till 4. Now not that I'm blaming anyone for what happened it just did and it skrewed me over because my set got pushed back again here. I'm not going to say why for fear of extending political bullshit farther than it needs to go but needless to say I got on at 5am. By then Jr who I was tagging with was so drunk he could barely talk let alone spin went on with me. I want to make it perfectly clear (LINDS) that I really didn't fuck up once there and believe me I am a pretty harsh critic of myself. You should just pay more attention to who is playing when two people are tagging. Now we get to the good part. I got a ride home with one of my friends who insisted we stop some where to hang out for a bit. We put one of my turntables and my mixer into the locked box in the back of his pick-up and we put the other deck in the cab of his truck. I fell asleep in this house and while I was sleeping they decided to go painting. They also decided it would be a bad idea to leave my deck one deck in the cab of the truck while they ripped around and painted. So they moved it into the house leaving my other deck and my mixer in the lock box. Now here's the exciting part and I'm not acusing anyone just giving the facts as they are displayed to me. I was at Stacy and Waymund's(MC RAIN) house when it happened. Me and Stacy were both asleep. Waymund was still up smoking jib. Sean and Liz get back form painting about one hour later to find that Waymound, my turntable and my back pack are missing in action. Waymund still hasn't been home since it happened yesterday morning. In my backpack was a mini disc that didn't belong to me, Birdgee K's microphone that she lent to me so Waymund could rap over my set, 20 of my new cd's, the power supply for my mixer so I can't even plug the damn thing in and my god damn hipnotik hoodie that is one of the first 50 they ever made and are never getting made again. It was a fucking christmas presant!!!! Anyway the hunt is on and I was lucky enough to engrave my DL # on the back of the decks. My DL # is 7214261 so if anyone hears about a turntable for sale please do something. I'll pay whatever was payed for it if someone already has it which I'm quite sure they do. It has a plain red felt slip mat and no dust cover so it shouldn't be that hard to identify. Great party eh guys....... |

I had a good night up untill I saw Dave get beat up. Shitty-ass vibe. I dont know how I ended up witrh his blood all up my arms. Not a good night to get :trippin: Hopefully the next party you throw Kev will go alot smoother. |

Word of advise....
Keep throwing parties, book whatever you want But keep em like that.....parties Don't worry about promising huge lights and sound systems and so on People just want to party, keep it cheap and fun with some good music, and you'll be all good Look at Scotty's parties now......They're put togethor quite cheaply but they're awsome! Thats because people aren't expecting something that can't be delivered at a cheap party As for the crowd, well get good security and door people and keep your guestlist tighter, From what I saw most people who were fighting were on the glist Also do searches for alcohol and weapons and confiscate them because obviously that contributed. People who cause shit and think they are ruff should jus fawk off or something. I was watching what was going on and a buncha guys even my guy friends were tryin to look so fucken ruff and shit, it was jus all sooo stupid. The party itself was good, I liked the music and most of people. But I think I heard Yo Yo, lets go get our boys and fuck these guys up way to many times.

I was disapointed, It was my first party since april and the first one was so good, the flyer made it sound like it would be badder and better then jb1 but it wasnt at all. weeksbefore the party i herd stuff about a new venue..better sound and lights? meh, oh well.. I had fun still but its only because of some of the people there, but then they all left when people started fighting. the fighting was really lame and made me wish i hadnt come..
ps: the party should of been renamed Breaks Breakdown (wasnt nearly enough jungle for a "jungle party" |
