ok here we go!
I showed up at spooky while dabbler was playing, Great set man! then i went up stairs for a bit to hear Dave Armstrong and seven and that was wild too. Came back to the bc room were precise was dropin some sicko beats, wicked job man! Then i went back up to the house room to hear Christian lay out some phat disco traks like he always does soooo well. then booooom lil Mz Booty rocked the house as usual too! FUNKLAB! well what can i say..except INSANE it's just to bad the City was on Twisted ass all nite about the levels of the music and I guess i'll appologize for that for some reason i dunno why! For the first little bit of my set it was a little scetchy cause i was tryin to make it as loud as possible for you guys but the sound techies kept turnin shit down and the needles that they had at the show were WACK! but no excuses.. thank god i brought my own needles so after i replaced them i was ready to roll. hope you all had a great time cause i had soo much fun spinin for you guys at the show.... Thank you to all who stuck around for at least most of my set. I appreciate it very much! ok, honestly, SETH AND NIGEL just ROCKED the theatre for like 3 hours!! insane insane speed garage and crazy ass funk!! the only time we left the theatre all night was to get the hell away from the evoulution's set (wtf was up with that!?) and to check out Cinto with the crazy breaks in the bc room. sick sick sick.
oh man! and Form and Kaos laid down a wiiiiiiicked selection of tunes and crazy scratching. seriously, so good. best f&k set ive seen. Kaos and female friend: ITS MY FIRST RAVE OK!?!? plur? I think I need sleep. I'm just hoping that I remember how to sleep. It's been so long. I think I've been 30 hours without sleep now. I will be posting my full report tommorow afternoon for all you ppl. Hopefully I'll have photos on Tuesday.

Spooky 7. What can you say. A lot I suppose. Here is goes:
TWisted, the fucking castle for the main stage was crazy. Well done! Man, it would be have been killer to stand up there and see 2000+ cracked out nammers tripping out to Trance and Hard House. Too bad there records kept skipping. If I was a trance head, I'd be really pissed off. I listen to a bit of Johan's set, pretty good. The BC Room, well the floor was a bit weird. But it was still dancable. Lil Mz Booty's set was off the hook. I don't know what track it was, the one with Bustah Rhymes saying Bounce fucking rocked the crowd. Bounce!! Bounce! I wanted to get a picture with her, but she left right away. Which suxed :( Cinto, great set as usually. Castle's in the sky remix always gets the crowd singing! Dabbler, man your costume rocks. Spawn!!! The room that surprised me the most was the theatre room. I don't know, but I was really feeling that room last night. Hershee spinned a dope season, even though he had to stop during the set to fix the sound system. I don't know who was spinning around 545...but it was fuckin packed in there. I was kinda dissppointed that not many people dressed up. In case you didn't know, I was a doctor, and NOT a nurse which many people thought I was. Crackheads!!! Some of the costumes that stood out. Plur Angels, Death (dude was standing in stilts), Sean's Pimp costume, a lot of school girl costumes (drools), this girl who had the best stockings with her devil costume. Anyways, the party was pretty good for $45. Last year had much better lasers, this year there was a better variety in music. Overall a pretty good party and I had a blast. Peace. PS - We sold a normal ticket for $140 to some nammer. Ha Ha Ha! Oh yeah, someone jacked my friends digi cam! That's why I left early. :( Pictures from Spooky will be on my site in a few days. |

OK..so i got there early..cuz yeah...the party itself..it wasn't the best...but it was alright...the bc room's carpet...it was fun..like i said before..OOOH..looks like a big messed up spider web...and i loved the ginormous pumpkins..hehe...did anyone else see a pumpkin in hte middle of the dance floor just being kicked around..hehe..poor pumpkin..i spent most of my night in this room..it was really bumpin in the beginning but it died down after a while..
the main room did have a lot of lights..but wutever...the castle thingy looked cool...music seemed good...the theatre room...it was good...didn't go there much though.. i was kinda disappointed with the costumes..not as many people dressed up this year..but some costumes were really good..oh..and to those who thought i was a bum or some garbage person..haha..i was the paper bag princess..a children's book by robert munsch~ it was great seeing everyone again..hope everytime had an alrite time..=) |

Wow. What a wicked party still doesnt compare to last year even though i saw a chick die right in front of me. I thought Johan's set was a little weak i have seen him pull off way better. for me lock 'n load's set was the best spinning the Ferry Corsten Punk Track. to bad he wont be at simple. Anyways cool night cant wait till next time. late.

OK.....that was one of the sikest parties i've been to....Lock'n'Load, and Geilen just wreked me :) awsome!!! ( even though geilen was havin some turnable probelems ).

This party was off the hook!
Stage setup in the main room was dope! Unfortunatly they could not complement that setup with proper sound, but due to regulations what can you do. I was feeling the house room all night long! That room seriously has the best vibe at all the parties. Dean Wilson, and Scotty Oh were no shows! But they did bring Prime as a last minute replacement. Nigel Andre was rocking the theatre room with his baseline house! This party had its good and bad points, but overall I had a great time. Peace Jamil |

My reason for attending the party was no one else but Johan Gielen. A well-respected Dutch DJ/producer, headlining the biggest dance events in Holland, Amsterdam several years in a row, such as: Trance Energy and Sensation, the guy was here to represent but the fukin technical problems made it all go down the toilet.
 A good reason for him to bring in his own t/t's whenever he will be planning to be doing a gig again. :soak: He doesn't deserve to suffer for non-properly functional equipment...I was blown away by the hardness and the tranceyness throughout the two hours. Exposure - Magic Impulse was definately the tune of the nite. Quite a few of his own remixes as well as productions under Svenson & Gielen alies, sure he knew how to work the crowd, having many years of experience under his belt he struggled to do his best but the 'train-wrecking' continued within pretty much every track...  He was still off the hook with the track selection n stuff I danced non-stop...I even got to meet him and shake hands with him :tounge1: when he was takin a walk in a hallway not even being noticed by a single person. Besides that, I met DJDeeb whom I never expected to be a diehard member of F&K, and loads more other cool ppl, no matter how high some of them were, being surrounded by em didn't bother me. :trippin: Last edited by Asteroid; Oct 27, 02 at 09:32 PM. |

wut a longlong nite! i LOVED the hype for the party..everyone was pumped to go inside and party it up. it was a stressful week and spooky totally rocked my nite. precise's set kicked the nite off perfectly for me.. i was goin just goin off to that set..and i pretty much died off the whole party. i just can't get enuff of breaks. DAMN the hype during lil miss booty's set was crazzyyy.. everyone was goin wild and it was an awesome set as well. cinto, f&k, chigga, chichi...congrats on makin my booty shake.
very nice to see everyone there who dressed up! palease ppl next year EVERYONE NEEDS TO DRESS UP! it was my first time wearin funfur....and i dont like it too much. dancing in a skirt is real nice though.. its "breezy" lol. im still deciding wut the best costume was.. dabbler's outfit was sweet!!! i'll get back to u guys on the best costume thing. nite started to drag on me.. really tired from vball, walkin and dancing so decided to boot it early. WHICH I TOTALLY REGRET NOW..cuz i wanted to catch kraig spin. dammitz. well congrats to kraig for having his first club show and first rave show in back to back days! =) plur was definatly in my vocabulary yesterday.. i even said plur to my cab driver. my bro marty managed to hook up a promo out of johans record bag and get it signed for us, it was all about the plur ferrys, FK crew had the theater on lock all night, i had a great time, i had a real crappy few days b4, but i managed to solve all of my problems during the party and ended up partying till the wee hours......props to azim for throwin another massive for us....

i had a lot of fun last night!
although, i was planning on spending a lot of my time with my friends. but i ended up roaming all over the place, and dancing in all of the rooms. i did spend some time with the ppl i went though. and met some new ED'rs (though that's irrelevant here i guess). |

Party was pretty good, although I agree when people say last years was better. Not sayin this years was shitty, it was better than most others thrown this year. I had a good time, saw a lot of unexpected friends there and some more newbies that I graded with. Props to everyone that I saw there, I got in the pic too although I was pretty messed at the time. I think its time to attend parties under the influence of just weed and/or alcohol. Planning to maybe go to Simple, love the dancung so I wanna go to another pretty soon. But anyways I had a great time, props again to everyone and peace out..........

So i wasn't the only one to notice the stupidly high and irregular number of hooched out and beautiful ladies? Most had great bodies, most had cute to beautiful faces, others just looked so skanked out that you couldn't help but drool in their presence. oh, and there's always a small warm place in my heart for asians who have a nice proportion. I was worried that I wasn't gonna have a good time at all because the night before killed all our pre-party vibes, but the second we walked in the doors it all came back and I had a fuckin awesome time :D
Got there early, which was fine by me because we didn't have to wait in that line up. lol. [thanks for the cupcake bev!!] The castle looked amazing! good work lawrence and azim :) I was liking the giant spiderweb the best though.. so simple and it looked so good all lit up. Pretty much everyone has commented on the sound so I'll just leave it at that.. Gielen was kind of dissapointing... love his tracks but he seemed to be strugglin up there. that could be because of $60 in alcohol he downed before hand... lol. I MET MOKA ONLY! hahaha so did everyone else yeah so pretty much i was just floating around all night, absorbing everything from everywhere. never have i had my picture taken so much lol. one final comment: PLUR!!!! hahaha |
