I'm not just talking about the needle, (which by the way, cover half of the downtown east-side, so if you don't wana see needles lying around a) get out and volunteer or b) don't go to parties on hastings) There were other comments made about the cleanliness of the venue, and my point is that most venues where actual parties are held are bound to be a tad scumy, and shouldn't be judged based on how the owner of the venue takes care of it... |

Overall I can't complain...like most parties (heck, like life) it had its positives and negatives...
Randomly... ...venue was a positive for proximity (well, to my place, that is)...yeah it may have been a little sketchy, but sometimes that's part of the charm...as for the needle (which I never saw), it didn't seem like a 'injection' crowd to me, so mebbe it was there before in which case perhaps it should have been removed just from a safety point of view...the fact that it was hotter than Hades was a negative...but the stairs as a sketch/chill area was a definite positive...overalll thumbs up... ...music was overall positive although sometimes on the stairs it felt like bein' directly between 2 radio stations on the dial...I found, tho that i'd often get 'grass is often greener' disease...sitting down & hearing tunes & wanting to dance & going to dance & wanting to go back and sit and chat & hearing tunes & wanting to go dance & going...etc... ...peeps/vibe were excellent...even tho I didn't meet tons of new ones (POSD-Perpetually Occasional Shyness Disorder...lol)...I could 'feel' a happy vibe... ...big negative however to the projectile vomit girl... ...big plus to raver twister...even tho I didn't play it was fun to watch... I'm sure there's more but that's all that's coming to mind at the moemnt... |

hey everybody thanks for all the reviews that were so far given... your opinion matters adn look at this way its also suggestions too :c-tard: i mean there was a lot of hard work that was put into this party and i was so tired after it as well as the rest of the crew it was almost tiring to have a good time :017: however the choice of venue if some of you dont know it was a result of and in order of no importance:::
1. Us : we decided to go on and work on this party a little too late roughly b/c of very poor winter that both me and brodie had plus our crew's lack of funds....no one is to blame for lack of funds cause we're all broke . 2. VENUE OWNERS AKA RUSSKIES : these guys were a little too uptight and when it was time to get a venue...which btw was not very much....just about 4 days were left and well it sucked that we were pretty much left with them as our only option...just as i was gettting relaxed and having fun they came in and asked for me to do something for them which then resulted in me finding my crew and having to go to work again.... 3.the fukin morons who had screwed us initially.... : well these doods had promised us as well as another crew the same venue and when it was time to call and pay them they flailed and told us that SORRY NO CAN DO >>RENTED OUT ALREADY.....so peace to these guys and i hope they can suck a big one....they pretty much left us 9 days to find a venue and that just put trememndous amount of stress on the crew......tnx a bunch retards.... well to those who didnt like the venue sorry cant please everyone but i hope you got your money's worth...remember how much fun you have at a party depends on the vibe at it ....and the vibe can only get better if you walk into that door with a smile on your face and hoping to see that on the first person that catches it your eye.......dont ever expect anything at a party b/c that ruins the fun of it ...expecting the unexpected can put a damper on one's mental health and having things come thru that you didnt even imagine can open up your mind and imagination to such great potential..... PS...that dirty needle which i hadnt seen by the way was obviously there before or you might have hallucinated it....either or apologies for that...i would have burnt that needle to a dry crisp if i had seen it or at least hammer the guy/girl in the head whoever was shooting it up cause IT AINT COOL>>>>>needles are not ok in my books nor in a lot of peoples books so have respect and do that shit elsewhere........well thanks to everyone who showed all your faces just helped me in so many ways...seeing that hard work does pay off as well as being able to learn so many new things about putting on parties just helps down the road and i hope that the next party put on by the crews will be just as successful as this....props to all the crews and those who helped out as well ........ :keebler: hope you have a good new years everyone and that you will all be there next time around.....if you ever see me at another party dont be afraid to come up to me and chat ,...to all those that know me know im not snobby and YARRR.,,,,,lets go smoke a doobie :smoke1: check ya later... : :284: |

Ruskies suck are evil. but all in all good times. Sorry bout the heat didnt think it would get that hot in there. Count down was funny i think Mark did it 10 mins before it was suppose to happen hehehehe. Well anyways thanks to all that helped coat check gurls etc. Anyways hope you all had a great new years. The winter is now here and now its time for me to concentrate on riding!!!!

... I had more fun in the parking lot by Waterfront station than at the actual party itself..
In the time I was there, too much speed garage for my liking... my friends ended up working at the door even though they weren't supposed to, so I spent most my time there... The only reason why I even went was to see NinjaBoy spin, and they cut him off because it was 'too loud'.... I should of just stayed home and watched anime on my computer.... it would of at least been fun. Unrelated note: Way too hot in there, especially in leg warmers, knee high socks, sweater, thick skirt, etc.... but that's my own fault. |

I thought the party was awsome....I pretty much sat on the stairs most of the time but I met sooo many people!!!! I had a lot of fun, Even though it was soo damn hot in there....

had fun fore my first party. met a shit load of ppl. most of the night i spent on the stairs but someone did end up geting me up to dance. (he knows who he is) it was supper hot though and spent so much on watter. and the bathroom was soooo bad water and orther stuf on the floor. but other than that i loved it.

the washrooms where gross!!!!! I hated going in there!!! The ground was coverd in.....I don't even wanna know what!!!!
But besides all that and the needles and stuff...the party was awsome...couldn't have asked for a better nye....all my friend s where there and I made some new friends to boot!!! only thing was I didn't have anyone to kiss at midnight...*crys* |

OMG the stair case guys had to be the best part. Was so cute seeing a mass load of people on those stairs just cuddline and shit. ONE GIGANTIC CUDDLE PUDDLE. hehehehe something you would see in the movie Groove or something. Anyways wudup G-Rock phat set bro!!!!
