YOU FUCKING E-TARD LEARN TO KNOW YOU LIMIT!!!! seriously.. I've seen less etard spew at plaza then at this party.. holy shit.. and tha tbitch that spewed on my and taht guy.. HOLY FUCK! I'm so not impressed. Otherwise the party Was good!I danced my ass off with my fucked up knee(I think I sprained it again), music was good.. chilled with some old friend and made some new ones.. the sound in the I guess not jungle room sorta irratated my ears.. not cause of the music.. but it just was like, cant think of the word.. umm.. opposite then hollow! But it was fine at some point.. hmmm.. I dunno.. sound in the other room was good.. I like the set up.. except for taht camo thinggy hanging from the ceiling.. damn branches.. I sorta like the idea of a madatory coat check.. uh, yeha.. tahts about all I can think off.. atm... But yeah appologies to all I was really mean too in the morning.. something struck me I was VERY pissed off and yeah.. there was no cheering me up! But thanx for those who tried. you know who you are!! Chrisgo, Amanda and Jenna, that for being there for me you guys!! I totaly appreciate it!!! Though.. I didn't know wut to think say nor do.. oi.. I was soo confused.. But I've come to a new realization.. :soak: |

hee. Yoko and I decided to hit up this party last minute. getting there was half the adventure with navigating around Chinatown, turning onto a one way street against traffic and putting up a front to the cop who was trying to help me turn around :P, and sketchy victory square. we were major bums at the party, but the music was good. had a little mission accomplished (;) @ Yoko) which was quite the highlight of our night. we left less than an hour after countdown and continued on to robson for some coffee amongst all the craziness.
my only shout out goes to yoko: thanks for the great night sweety! it was much better than sleeping through the night as i had originally planned. :P i can't wait to get the pix developed, with the broken off gingerbread man's head. :( i always enjoy your company and i definitely hope that we'll get the chance to meet up one more time before i leave. so soon...and i'll miss you to bits and pieces. happy new year! |

I would have to say that I had a great time...Excellent!!!!
Met with some new peeps.. (like e the bee?) lol and of course seeing the old ones.. party on!!! Sold Kiss tix... btw anyone need one?? tix are $35 till Jan5th....just message me I was pretty pissed off at that damn security guard that said I couldnt get back into the party cuz of my age... like screw u... lol but I pushed me way through!!! |

It was pretty fun, met some new (and friendly) people (A pleasant surprise that doesn't seem to happen too much in Vancouver)...Thought I recognized some people from the board here but I am soooo shy so I didn't say hi (plus I was preoccupied dancing)...it is too bad no one from here intro or re-introduced themselves to me. It was a little stuffy but the vibe was infinitely better than Plaza parties and for only $22 You couldn't really go wrong with this one...I danced less than I wanted but only cause my shoes were giving me trouble...
As far as deeroc's comment goes...I was sober the whole night...I go to raves to dance, if I'm high it means that the party sucks so bad that I need drugs to make it better... Props to the crew that put it on! |

those russian guys were fags but enough of that... just wanted to come here and post a small review of the night
I thought that the venue could defentally use more AC. I was dying from what i was wearing and that fact that there was only 1 small fan for a place like that. Lets try and bring another one or two to the next one. I loved the music from MarkPaul-Sean's set. I thought everyone really put on some great tracks and made me dance my butt off. It was a little hot so i had to take breaks but the music kept me comming back for more! The set up of the decorations were a little low. I had to keep ducking and stuff to get outta the way for it haha. Had fun partying it up with good friends and people i havent seen in awhile. Hope everyone had a good new years, though it was called like 3 min too early and thew off some plans i had, but it all worked out (thanks everyone for your advice,, you know who you are) though the music and everthing was great it was one girl that made this the best night. *hugs* she knows who she is. Other then beeing so hot i loved this party. I had alot of fun. Gotta give props to everyone that threw this party and helped clean up and everything. If you want me to help next time just ask. Next time there has to be more people to battle haha jk thanks and happy new years to everyone... btw did anyone know the girls taken pics or know if they have a website? i'd like to get a copy. Plus i am getting my rolls of film developed tomomrrow so i can show them as well |

the party was $hit. because i had no more alachol.... it was ok... but seriously people kept thinking i was dawson and it was fu{kin starting to piss me off. even when we went to Play around 5:30 people still though i was him and people were comming up to me and were all like "man you killed it tonight yo" and i was just like "word" (playing along) :) but ya... I didn't care to much for the extreemly dirty venue.. and it was too hot in there. but ya.. new years was fun. |

what a stuffy place that was. I felt sorry for the guy that had to stand outside all night at "checkpoint".. oh well..
I went with my erica, thanks for driving my bum around and getting "stopped" was kind scary... but thank god they were only trying to help. Glad your car didn't get broken into, chinatown is scary. etc.. hehe I had a fun night overall, though it had little to do with the party. A very casual, but interesting and spontaneous way to spend 2002-2003. happy new year and stuff. |

Pretty sweet new years, and i know it was good cuz im still Fucked! meet tons of ppl, oh yah props to the two cool guys, n that one gal, working the upstairs door all night! really troopers!, sweet venue, *needed more fans and or windows* balanced out with the creepy russians so thats cool, (y) This party, and everyone there! for sure Are goin to be one Chapter in my Book,*work in progress & title pending!*(anyone have a sweet title idea for a book that cronicals the sketchy stories of raver in our scene?? ) so i lost my train of thought! u'll gett the point ...yay good party,..need sleep now got wicked bad insomnia! While the russians were sketchy, I thought the party was rather fun :) While I spent the majority of the night doing coat check, I still managed to get out and groove for awhile and smoke a couple bowls with some friends...
It definatly was not as sucky a new years as I thought it was going to be... The crazy Americans cracked me up... And to the people bitching about a dirty venue: grow up. RAVES are not held at the plaza. Where do you think parties were held before the media snagged onto them and dragged them into the mainstream? Warehouses without washrooms, bush without access roads, old coffee shops with slime on the floors...not nicely furnished, spit and polished venues. I'll take a cracked out warehouse party any day over a shiny faux ravey rave. if you can't handle the heat, get the fuck outta the kitchen. And to all the fantabulous people that made the night great and didn't yell at us about the shitty coat check rules set by the Russians, thanks a million, you guys made our night that much better! :smoke1: |
