Good party for sure! Lots of fun! Lota of stages! No Rain!! Great great great! Kraig - I didn't meet you but I had to say, your set was just WOW! started(yea that's right, started, we got there a little on the late side) my night off right! I absoulty love his spinning skills..and at everyparty I have been too I have always caught his set. He actully got me in to likeing that kinda music,well Jon too. Werd to team cow bell! Jr said I could be anituated in Natasha :) hehe I wanna join! Apex was a complete success,
In my opinion it was a clear indication that people are still willing to support the many promoters in this city. I was absolutely impressed by the amount of support we received from everyone on form-kaos.com. My thank-you and shout out list is going to be massive. Everybody pulled together and that’s why apex went as well as it did. Read on. First off, I’d like to give a massive shout out to Avana & Salim for all their hard work and for believing that Apex could do as well as it did. Without them, Apex would have been a mess and I really think these two deserve a BIG thanks from everyone. Next on my list is Cecilia who worked very hard the weeks prior to Apex and also the night of Apex. She was my right hand woman and without her I would have ended up with a large growth on the side of my head from all the stress we encountered the entire night through. Thank-you Cece, my baby boo, for all your hard work. My next shout goes out to all of our DJ’s who played awesome sets the entire night through. Everyone I spoke with was utterly happy with your sets and we definitely want to thank you for donating your talent to our stage. That list contains Paavo Sijamaki of Above & Beyond (UK), Montana & Res, Kraig & Adam, Jimboski, Eris, Double Down, Mateo, James Steele, Tazix, Greg C, Lil Stuey, Kyle and his crew, Skrilla, Oliver & Nigel, Sizesmall, Akeel and Mr Sinister. Big thanks to Masterplan who helped out with the set-up and design of our stage, Lush Plush for the visuals, Jim & Scott the security guys who eventually allowed us to bring in our healthy drinks, Bev & Crew for their awesome ticket-selling abilities, SOMA(stage set-up), Hirshee, Adam, Monzo, Olivia our sub-in lot attendants, Advanced Nutrients for their support, Jacob our sound guy, Myles for the awesome crew passes, Neil at djconnections, Eris for bringing her turntables, Adam for bringing his turntables, Kaos for his gear and everyone else who helped manage the FNK stage. Also a book full of thank-you’s to Montana & Res (Marty & Adam) for their role in bringing in Above & Beyond and looking after all of his needs whilst he visited Vancouver for the first time. I also can’t forget Monzo for looking after Paavo transportation-wise and Danny T for hosting the club night at Viva for Paavo the night before. It was also nice to meet all the people I did. Lots of people I had never met came up to me and thanked me for putting up the stages and thanked me for all the hard work I had done on the stage. Lidster and Sixpack, nice meeting ya and putting names to faces. All in all I’m very happy with the turnout and the ways things went. I learned a lot about promoting and a lot about managing a stage. I know what steps I’ll take next time and what steps I’ll avoid. I hope everyone who came realizes the amount of hard work people invested into the show. Thanks to Carlos and Rob for dealing with my antics for an hour and a half....guys I don't know what the fuck happenned but I had fun sort of...
The bongo guy who gave me the glowstick...thanks, it made me smile. Thanks to Mario for the lazer shout it, I gotta say it is the trippiest thing being on the decks and looking up and seeing your name blazing across the trees in green lazer!!!!!! Thanks to the kids who danced in front of me despite needle skips etc, you guys are the reason why I play. Oh and I PLAYED TECHNO!!!!!!! And people got it. Ha ha ha Eminem apparently some still listen to techno ;) Thanks to Isis, sorry I missed your set girl, we'll rock it on thursday. lots of drugs lots booze lots of people lots of boozed druged people saw most of the people from POUND IT up there always fun partying with you guys Myles love your office man ( I know you were leasing though) props to Hirshee for dropping a sick set all the stages seemed to be going off met some fellow ravers GOAT, winston, kimmeyCandy (for a second) and richwee and a few others good to see jingles out of retirement shout outs to everyone else |

I had a grand time! The Sound Funktion stage went OFF when Vengeance and Ozz were goin' at it.... Blunted, Offset, No1d, Jovi...and others... you know what I mean.
I think all stages were pretty good and that lazer at the Bass Junkies stage was off the fucking chains! I especially enjoyed some of the funk at the Team Hardcore stage and the Uncannee Prod. stage. Saw a crap load of people.... so many that I can't even begin to name them all off... so we can do it this way.... if I saw you.... HI!!!  (It also saves on a shit load of typing)Overall Apex didn't dissapoint! Can't wait until next year.... let's hope it still continues on strong! |

Is it just me or were people incredibly nice at this party? My friend had a guy give him $20 cause we had no money, and I found a guy buying me gatorade all night. Great vibe. I was just chillin in my chair almost all night.

Butterfly..I was one of those kids that were in front of your set! I loved seeing all the dj's so happy to be there and when you clapped for them they would tottally give er! Props! lol werd to the morning crew team puff puff pass. lol..omg siffler.I wish I could of kept tabs on more people. I was going around yelling fucking dirty ravers and PLUR let not forget flail! I liked the vibe because when I went off flailing like a hippy on crack people seemed to smile not really get mad. goodtimes starfish I liked your set

what a great show. form said it best with "its one for the books" :) soooo many highlights.. but also so many missed moments. I wish I had seen my new west friends rockin at the stages more, but I was stationary at fnk most of the night.
great seeing everyone, and missing a ton too. I think I saw montana for like 2 mins, akeel I didnt really notice ya till the sun came up. omega's personal pass, the bust down at the door. having aboot 20 new west kids out at one party, that was unreal.. I couldnt be more happy. the vip lounge in adams car, only 5 ravers at a time. reezo with thaa doooob! sean went from hyper-active to puppy; it was rather odd. anyone see the fire guy, uhhhh yeah great idea, dont ravers read the news?! addy. I musta had 5 kids ask me what stage flave was on :hehe: goat to the point where all he could say was "fucken ravers", stiffler raving! old skool fnk'r maripopins, simply great seenin her. zman tent my office, moneys tent just not good enough. ppl stop standing infront of the slides! to everyone who looked for their name and couldnt find it, Im just to lazy to type anymore. check later. :moon: |

Well what can I say but what a night Many thanks and props to go around so her goes and if I forget to mention anyone I'm sorry I luv you all.First to all my Dj'sand crew you all played amazing some of the best tunes I've ever heard fucking amazing all of you guys next to Avana good fro you for helping to save apex and to all of the promoters another great year this was my favourite apex yet it's scary to think what might've happend if there had been more promoting going on awesome job everybody.Next to Moses and all the crew at Juice entertainment great job guys I thought we had the best sound and one of the best setups it was kind of a toss up, but I must say the Fundamental guys sure had a dope stage i mean come on a fucking pirate ship that's creativity at it best good job Brian & Bret
