that party was my first party and fuck it was amazing.......well considern its my first.....scot project spun a fucking tight set......akeel in the break room.......i wanna give some shouts out.......first 2 steve-o fuck buddie most fun i have in the fuck longest time........super man: killer times in the break room.......bozga: eb lol fucking ito the sell out.......paige:eye love u......Kat nice meetng u.....same with u ang.......and 4 every1 else i met im sorry i dont member.......but it was killer partyn with u guys......

 ...not to mention picking on dean. SORRY DEAN but u were just so hammed :toasted: ! easy target.. know wut I mean??overall the party was alot of fun... didnt like how I could actually TALK to people in the main room tho. CMON! the music is supposed to be louder than that! dj'z were off the hook... setup was so so... people were tons of fun as alwayz! lookin forward to seeing every1 again at twisted!! |

All I can say is wow. For all those people who don't know who I was. I was the guys who was taking your tickets and rippin off the tabs at the doors. I was so tempted to leave the duty when I saw about 15 FnK'ers just leave their dancing area and surround each other. Well when i was finally done which was around 12 and walked in the main room IT WAS PACKED at 11 I heard. That's nearly unheard of. Mad set by the SHY BROTHERS. Be on the look out for their new track Nemisis which is SICK. Overall the night was dope. I had an awesome time. Scot Project was Hard as fuck. Dropped that second track in his set (For all those who have it check that song out it's SICK).

It was an alright party...no huge complaints, but not one to go down in the record books.

Well were should I start, First of all I have to apologize to any of the DJ's I might have pissed off. I was not working for Masterplan on this show. I have had many problems before with DJ's damaging the equipment because they could not find a technician to fix it, if people could only wait a few minutes and it would be fixed. When shows start there is always a list of problems that come to the Technicians attention along with requests. We then sort of create a list and we fix things on a proirity bases, there are things that need to be fixed before others. Example, Main room audio distorting would get fixed before dj monitors or the lighting rig not working would be fix first.
We do try to work our hardest to fix everything and make everybody happy. Hopefully on the next show we can all understand that everybody is there to put on the best DAMN show possible. |

ok im not even going to comment on the production bits of the party, cuz it has already have been said. i didn't attend imf, and came expecting to see some neat visuals/gadgets...lets just say i was confused when i walked in. the bc room was screaming for decos :(
ill talk about the dancers.. fun topic. the quad asian group was a lot of fun and very neat to see out at a party...until they repeated their routine over and over again, at a point where i caught up to 16 counts of one routine. definately very commited dancers. hope to see them again.... i remember seeing them perform at metrotown once! choregraphed routine looks soooo dope. myles friend? this might have been bevan... guy in blue/white button down and hat... wow you have sickkkk steps. i was watching u dance for a bit, and damn...amazing footwork. all in all, it was nice to see some fun circles back in the scene... very diverse styles! i saw tons of ppl teaching each other steps/moves and it just gave me the tingly feeling when i saw it. i *heart* dancing. had a great time flailin with ya all! and cass, ;) especially with you. ballet to the last track of the nite was much needed. quick shouts to kraig, hsbc, butthead, akeel, cinto, ryan, the nice dj wax guy, dave (wtf..im giving u a second chance to take it back), amaan, veni, FRANCES, lorne, myles, CHRIS!!!, fishy, lauren x 2, cece, ty, winson, anjew, darren, brad, dean, and cody. ummm gong. too many names. stantons set was kick ars. the push up remixed by plumps was sweet. reason i went thats all.. rest of the nite was pretty...blurry. :kimmie: Last edited by bebu*funfun; Mar 22, 04 at 01:20 PM. |

yes it is a shame that it was an ongoing problem with the audio in the main room. the problem we face is that the dj's have a gain on there mixer and every time they turn up the gain we have to turn down our mixer. this cause a whoke bunch of problems with our equipment cause now we have to redo all our eq point in our digital crossover and on the eqs.
On another note if you are out there partying do not try and climb the speakers we had one end up in a couple pieces because someone did try to climb. not cool. Any question shoot tem at me I will try to answer them |

Thank you vancouver for a great time. I have ups and downs about this event.
The DJs I wanted to see... came through with amazing preformances in my opinion. Marco V was amazing... exactly the style of music I love... techno influcanced trance... beautiful stuff. And he was so happy to be playing... got a CD signed by him and asked him "how did he make this weekend happen... friday night in the netherlands and saturday night in vancouver... that's crazy"... his answer "i just love djing". Stanton Warriors... wow wow wow... way more then I ever expected. Very very cool set... right up there with my Marco V experiance. The sound system in the main room though... jeesh... this system wasn't tested out enough before the show... there was delay issues... monitor issues (so i hear)... and so much more disapointment with this. So the main room djs should had sounded even better... but I guess that's something we give up sometimes since we do have bylaws to obide by for plaza events. To my Nanaimo peeps... it was great meeting some of you for the first time, and some once again... glad I made the decision to travel home with you... it was nice to shower and sleep right once I got home. And ofcourse Kelly... *mwah* great partying with you again... and we'll talk to you soon. ....Phil ps: any chance we can have marco back for a club event... so the sound has less of a chance to disapoint. |

i must agree with angee music in main room was a tinnsie low like i could hear ppl perrfectly fine and i was right in front! marco v! was SO TYTE~it was aite party tho i still had my mad share of fun~i missed the fnk meet at 3am :( but i was at the one at 12! wich was like deserted! lol but yes to everyone i chilled with and the people i met again from fnk! thanks for making my night even better! im reli lazy right now havent even slept yet so MUAHZ~
