It was too hot.
The beats were good, tho the sound kept cutting out, and there coulda been more dnb. the crowd was full of people that made me feel old, or creeped me out. i was also sad that our "See Sketchy" posters didn't get to be put up. all around it was alright, i coulda danced more, and stayed away from the creeps more, if it wasn't so hot. good job tho guuuuys. *kisses* |

I had a really good nite... I saw lots of people i already knew and met a few new people...It took awhile for me to totally get the groove and the feel of the party, i definately had a fun time, the after sketch tho was another story...it turned out good when i ended up back at JOhn(swiftbeats) and ken's house with some other peeps, had some fun. Jesse the breakdancing kid from LA was so cool, what a little cutie. Brennan, it was good having uu down as always, good time. Everyone who knows me I LOve u all!! 2 many shoutouts, i send all my love and kisses, oh ya Melo D rocked the house...props 2 DA productions, very nice party. Wished it hadnt ended quite so early but it was a fun nite..Party On All!!

hmmmmm last thing i remember is at jakes telling everyone goodbye cause i wasnt gonna remember n e tihng after slamming my liquor.
and thats what happened. I think i had fun....i was told i was falling everywhere..... fell asleep behind the couch upstairs. Akeel....dope set..well what i can remember. I had a good time all in all. Cool crowd, good dancers. Did lots of wavedancing and liquid, and my arms, shoulders, and fingers are in pain today! :) Wellbelove played my favorite set that night. Too much hip-hop imho, and not enough ventilation.
I had a bit of an experience with the police on the way there... we were told to go to Fraser and 16th, so we are driving past that intersection and there were cop cars all over the place. We though maybe they were there for the party or something.... and we got really bummed out. I got elected to walk to the intersection and check for anybody from the promoters so we could get the venue location... so I'm walking down the street and this cop runs up behind me and says STOP! So he searches me, as he's telling me there's somebody with a knife around here that they are on the look out for. That kind of creeped me out... and then he starts asking all these questions like where am I coming from where am I going, etc... and I really, really suck at lying, especially to the police. So I told him I was going to a party, and when he asked I said I didn't know where it was yet.... and at that point I thought I might have blown the party or at least hinted too much about it, or something with my slow-wittedness. Anyway it looks like I was wrong (and naive). The moral of the above long-winded paragraph: Cops aren't always trying to fuck you over, after all! |
