omg soo much crazyness tonight. it was tough work trying to think up a move to replace the raver kick. But Sheena I think i'm onto something with the squating tornado. :p I think I concerned a lot of people about my sanity with that one eh. And how did you like the moon tonight. hahahahaha!!! Manda I put on the shirt yay!!! Anita I tried to keep that dude away from you. Rhia thanks for the cake it was good. Nice to meet some new fnkers. And Matt why did you look so scared to hump her??? :( that sucks! you know what is totaly scary though. Untill I just read your post. I was thinking that Natasha was you all night. She dyed her hair back to all dark brown. i saw tall skiny and brown hair and was thinking it was you!!! But at the same time I was like why does she look different, LOL and I wasn't even high. Like wtf!!!!

Good times where had to night, i raved hard, got a demo cd from MEA and made it home safely. The "Dry Grad" was shut down arounf 3 am, boo but what the hey.I dont knoe of anything happening after the party but it was a good show. Saw some good folk (dougy), and missed out n meeting some other folk (margie) For all the ravers still out lookin for a party...

Sick party. Felt very underground, and I was liking the vibe. CRAZY BEATS. Hirshee's set was dope, same with Mea's. Hirshee man, holy crap, you can't possible get any better than tonight. PROPS. Hirshee is my new favorite DJ!
Too bad the cops shut us down. I guess we got shut down at about 3AM during Thomas Mezley's set. I wouldn't mind knowing their reason to shut us down, but c'est la vie. I was busting liquid, waving, and popping for pretty much 4 hours, and was having a great time. One thing I have noticed though, is that there are less and less really great dancers at parties. It used to be a couple years ago there was a good handful of really good liquidheads, or poppers, or whatever, at every party. Now I'm pressed to find 2 or 3 fellow technical dancers. Has anyone else noticed this trend? Anyway, props to agro for a cool party... try to ventilate a bit better next time please... I know its tough and all but it really detracts from the vibe you know. If I had to name one problem with the (smaller, underground) rave scene in vancouver, that makes me consider cutting down on parties, is that they get so. freaking. hot. If I had to guess, its probably that reason that got us shut down. But what do I know. Thanks to everyone for a memorable night! - Dave |

^that venue has always been that hot. It's hard to keep it cool unless you invest In a lot of large fans. You cant really open windows because the sound carrys and that is what gets you busted faster. Thats usualy why small parties are so hot because they arn't legal so you can't open the windows when you are at risk of being caught throwing a party.

Nothing makes me wetter than when you break your glow sticks and proceed to dance about with them spraying glowing ooze all over. Maybe you want to have burning rashes tommorow but I certainly dont. Definition of old - laying down Saturday night at about 7PM for a quick nap before goging to Groove cause you are tired from partying at DJ Dan the night before, and not waking up until 8AM on SUNDAY MORNING thus totally missing the party!

it was alright. i saw more people and had fun more fun at sonar the previous night though. spending $40 @ the door for less than 2 hours was also pretty ass. ah well, at least now i authoritatively know i like clubs better.
nice seeing everyone. bitchin and carrie are teh rad. :D |

Groove was a wicked party! Even though it only went till 3 ish (stupid popo) Oh well it still kicked ass. Mia set was incredable! and it did feel verry underground which is a nice change from the plaza and there was NO mellow trance!!! Finally a party with some balls!
