Just got in a few minutes ago. A good show overall. The setup and decorations were excellent in both rooms. Precise had the breaks room going off early on. Sean and Danny started the night off with a bang aswell and Jimmy laid down some great epic trance. But after that, the music started to slow down, which was really disconcerting for me. DJ Keri started out strong with some good trancey breaks but then moved into more downtempo stuff and a host of mainstream remixes that were more akin to an 80s night than a rave. Don't get me wrong, she was good, but the tempo seemed to keep getting slower and slower and when Steve Angello started his set it still took a while to get everybody moving again. Very sad that Hyperfunk didn't make it out for this show as I havn't seen him play in some time. Wish I could've stayed for Lady Dana aswell, but I was just too sleep deprived to stay any longer. Overall, a wicked effort by the Agroculture crew with, as always, a diverse entertainment lineup. Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for your next show :) Hope everyone has a good time and Happy Valentines to all!

Sharaz kicked my ass from here all the way to Florida and back again.
Angello did play hard to keep the nammer crowd though, which was kind of dissapointing. I wanted to hear some of the more funky stuff. Then there was the whole hyperfunk fiasco, getting so incredibly lost we were late, people not wanting to participate in the match-maker game :( The washrooms did get pretty bad... I couldn't sit down for more than two seconds without someone coming up to me and asking me if i was okay. I was just sober people! Nothing life threatening! All in all a good time, Dave and crew, awesome job. Good to see all those who I did. In closing, my favorite two tracks of the night were definately "children of the 80's" and dabblers last track. (I have no idea what its called but it was awesome. track ID anyone?) Now, I'm going to sleep. For many, many hours. |

The party was pretty good.
Cons-I went to see hyperfunk and hirshee, hyperfunk was a no show, hirshee was on so late and considering the fact that I was sober I had to leave early.(530) The upstairs room could have had some open windows and there could have been a little less vomit. Pros-The music was wicked. The vibe was great(in exception of a few really rude people). The decor was awesome. The water was cold!! And there were lots of good friends. The venue was nice and there was a good setup. Met alot of new people. I felt really bad for all the people that were waiting outside for so long. That was shitty. Well happy valentines day to you all and it was nice to meet all you FNK-ers. |

Wow I just got back and boy was this a good party.
Angello absolutely dropped bombs towards the end of the set, first off with Antoine Clamaran - Dancing...and when angello dropped that house mix of Blur - Song 2 the floor just went nuts. The when Dana stepped up to the plate...well at first I was disappointed due to the fact she started out Jump/Hardcore...which surprisingly went off pretty well, then when she started to drop those hardstyle basslines the crowd went ape shit... Dana absolutely made my night when I flashed her my phone with the song I wanted her to play...and guess what...she drops nobody listens to techno the next track following... it was insane. Hands down Lady Dana is THE Queen of Hardstyle :). ill write more once i get some food and sleep....mmmmm sleep is good. |

What a fucking gong show, and not in the good way. I ended up getting there at 12:30 with 3 friends, one of whom wasn't doing so well health-wise but decided to come anyways (hence why were late). The two of us got in immediately (go VIP/Gueslist), but our friends were stuck outside for 2.5 hours (hooray for overselling tickets!), and finally there was another issue and basically all my friends left. I had paid an assload of cash to be there, so there was no way I was gonna miss Lady Dana. --Interlude: Fucking Sick-Ass Awesome HARD Set by Lady Dana-- I totally haven't danced that hard sober since....I don't remember when. I just kept screaming "Harder!" and it just kept getting, well, Harder. *glee* And that crazy fucking near-gabber track at the end made my night. Then, the party explodes at 7am, and I can't find anyone to get a ride anywheres near back home with. End Result: A day that will live in infamy enough for me that I'm totally avoiding massives unless I NEED to see a DJ. However, Trauma + 2.5hrs Late + $75 VIP Ticket + $26 Cab Ride Home = 100% worth it... but ONLY because of Lady Dana and Dabbler (And as for Dabbler, I'll admit I didn't dance much to his set. But that's because I was wearing blue/yellow funfur phat pants and an assload of kandy. Honestly, I was scared for my life, and the cognitive dissonance was overwhelming!) Hey to everyone I bumped into/met again. Hope you had as much fun as I did without all the random crappy bits. |

That and the 7am closure upstairs .. not only do we get shutdown.. we cant go back into room 1 ! I felt so damn bad for Callie who was supposed to do her debut 7am-8am slot in room 2.. she was maaaadd. In all a good showing .. riverside brings back soo many memories. ^They shut down the upstairs room only and made everyone in it leave the party? If that's true, that's fucking EVIL.

Great job boys, an obvious success. the party was bumpin'. I would like to give a big ups to Dave A. caught the tail end of his set and it was rockin' as usual, SHARAZ kicked a$$, he shocked the hell out of me, I mean he's a awsome DJ and Producer, but he threw down, and Dabbler "Nice one Bruve" only caught the first 25 mins but I liked it a lot. all in all good party. only down fall, no one knows how to use the stairs. people were just standing around and on them. it's not fun taking 8 mins to get down 1 flight of stairs, nor is it fun taking anout 8 mins to go up? but I guess it's come with the territory. He got caught up at the border. We had all the proper permit and documentation but for some reason they decided that he wasn't coming over that night I'm sure Anthony will explain later Thanks everyone you made KISS an amazing success! |
