Now that Douglas is gone,

Was there any upcoming parties that were going to be thrown there?
I suppose the promoters aren't going to say much, but come on now, the people have a right to know if they already have tickets for a specific party, it would be a little stupid to find out like half hour till the party starts that it's canceled because the venue is gone.

Will they be moving the parties to a different venue?

whats going on with that?

I mean, we have groove prt2, elevation, unite!, funkin sorry, outbound flight, a new beginning: all coming up soon.

How will this effect things?

I'm sure that if any of those parties were planned for Douggie, the promoters are currently working their fucking asses off to find another venue.

We were contemplating on using Douglas for Groove 2, just because of the fact that it's free haha

The hall we are using now is just as nice and easily accessable. We would've used it for Groove 1 but it was already booked

AGROculture has been around and doing this sort of stuff for years. So we've got plenty of options

They won't do parties at that place no more cause of new ownership plus it was way too expensive to even break even at that place trust me I know ;)

Hmm fair enough :) But whenever one place changes ownership for the worst, some other place in Vancouver changes hands for the better. Props to all the promoters who keep their eyes peeled for new locations :)
