to the best of my knowledge, the party was originally planned for Royal Banquet Hall on Kingsway, which has the layout to have 3 rooms.

my guess is something fell through and they couldnt get it.. So they had to find a backup location

I'm not a dumbass, unlike some other people i know... i could have stopped right at the venue with a whole bunch of ppl, and let them out infront, making a whole bunch of noise, etc, etc, now that would heat out the location

as DetN8R mentioned a few posts before, you would have realized I handled it very well if you were driving with us. I just appeared like a normal driver on the road.. followed the bus, saw the building it turned into, and didnt stop driving for at least 4 blocks, parked in a residential area and quietly walked up to the venue.

That "flash back" would've been from February 2003... so a lil over a year.

We had such a wikked time throwing that party (even though I lost a buncha money it was still a fucking blast). Everyone took the shuttle bus (even our headliner and all the other DJs) and it went all night. Everyone had a great time. Got invited to check it out last night but I didn't get the message until late... oh well.

I do too. I had a wicked time at that party :) I remember Liz And Jackie driving the shuttle bus... I have never been more happy than taking that shuttle to the party. Why do people not want to take shuttles any more? They used to be alot of fun. Half the fun of a underground party was getting to it :p

Jake, Erin and J'nettes Saturday Night Adventure:

so we're at the apartment, drinking and getting ready to go...head out the door, grab the bus to lougheed station where we ask one of the skytrain people how to get to where we need to go. he tells us to get off at metrotown and take the number 19 bus.

so we get off at metrotown, get on the number 19 where the bus driver tells us we can't take this bus to get there and we need to get back on the skytrain.

so we head back up to the skytrain, where the skytrain attendent tells us that the skytrain is no longer running downtown anymore (it's 1:15am at this point) and that we should head back down and take the number 19 bus (grrrr...)

so we head back down, but by that time the 19 has turned into a bus that goes to 41st and Oak street (nowhere near the rave). so we're waiting for another bus, when we get a call that tells us the party is shut down.

so now we're stranded at metrotown, we eventually get a bus that takes us to New Westminster station where we wait until 2am when Shannon (thank god we love you!) comes and picks us up and takes us home.

moral of the story: don't trust the skytrain people for directions!!!

Actually Shannon it was the fire marshall who shut the party down as I was told. The VPD didn't even know why they were shutting it down until they were told by the fire marshall.

saturday night's adventourous (sp?) for peter (ricey) kim (kimmycandy) zoe (spiney) amanda (tahiti_treat) & moi

it all started with me/peter/amanda skytraining and meeting zoe and kim at scott road then we drove to this "bbq" in surrey. lets say we left the party imedietly (5min) after we go there. this "party" turned out to be this gathering of this guys bday party and his RENTS were throwing a party inside...wow so we were all wierded out and went to boston pizza in delta. then we headed to liq store. then on the way there we pass by a krispy kremes and saw cops carrying body bags onto a stretcher! aiya then we went to amandas so she could change. then was rolling to RBH but then i was told by darren it was at nanimo and 1st so i went there. we go there then amanda REALIZED she forogt her ticket. BAH so we had to roll back all the way to bunaby and get her ticket and by the time we go to UNITE it was 12ish. partied for like an hour and half party was busted. what a waste of 35 bucks. then we all decided to roll to the moon on our way there saw a cop investigating this body under a bridge. ew. then had to pay more moeny to get in..partyed for a bit then rolled to my house where i found a guy in my moms bed. what a sketchy night that was. grr....

I really enjoyed this party while itlasted. It was a great venue, i loved the underground hallway, the only problem with the venue is that u cant fill up your waterbottle that really pissed me off. 2 bad it got shut down, i didnt pay for this party so i didnt lose any mone but it is so annoying when u pay money for parties and they get shut down..stupid pigs. I had fun tho and i went to 2 the moon after and that was a bast so all in all a good nite
