You know man, I would be SO STOAKED if M.I.K.E. headlined a party here, Mirka and I had a fairly lengthy conversation on how he is having trouble getting a P2 work visa to come to canada, plus on top of that a solid $6,000USD for the booking.......never know, if a promotor has the cash and public support, it could be plausible........Love the idea tho :)

you gotta admit it'd be soooo nice !!
I'm actually pretty aware of prices and that line-up would be a little expensive yeah.. Remove like tiesto from it and it's not that much expensive anymore though.. Especially for a like 5000 people (how many were there at 2004 hey?) /70$ average tickets .. ! :D |

ya it would be nice but the chance's of that happening are slim to none! pual oakenfold is not worth 25-35 G's US, if i wanted to pay that i would bring in Lisa Lashes, Yoji Biomehanika, and Jimmy Chou all for the same price! Booking all of them at the same time's gonna be the hard part tho. hmmm i think we hit 4700 for IMF 2004? Tiesto's booked up for like the next two yrs now i would think! He's about 35+ G's US! *ouch* This is just my own opinion! |

i hear ya !
However oakenfold doesn't charge 35Gs Us and Tiesto doesn't charge 35Gs US+ for 5000 people shows.. These are just impressive numbers that people like to throw around; these are like what they charge for huge partys in Europe like Energy, Sensation and big stuff like that.. But anyway it's not really of my business ! you look like your interested in more hard stuff for next year, and i admit it'd be really nice too ! Instead of Lisa Lashes though i'd have Lab4, Yoji, Tilzs (who lives in the US, makes some really crazy music and doesn't charge much..) and Kevin energy (dj energy).. Man that would be a PARTY ! |

i have a friend name tilly and we call him tilzs! hahaha well from what i'm hearing, Doom's night will be a very good show! looking forwerd to the headliners! =p oh and i think vancouver is moving back to the hard stuff, not hard house but i think hard trance!

you could get a couple of them but no single party company out here has the money to pull that off I laugh at the idea that anyone could throw a decent party with tiesto in the line up (due to the high cost it is to book him) I mean sure it be great to see him , but the other rooms will suffer cause you couldnt afford to book other decent headliners and if you did the ticket prices would be insanely high. I'd like to see this line up too (for the most part) in reality though I'd hope/expect to see like 2 of those DJ's as headliners |

Actually, there are only a hand full of parties in the world that can pull off something like that! Even "sensation" the biggest indoor party in the world had only
(white edition) Pual Van Dyk Benjamin Bates Erick Morillo Sander Kleinenberg Joost van Bellen Brian Stolwijk (black edition) Yoji Biomehanika Marcel Woods Luna The Dark Raver Pavo Promo in my opinion, there's only 2 Dj's in there that i would go see and they're the first one in both list's! The best all-around line up ever in vancouver was most likely last year's IMF! Both main and breaks room was Stacked! Whoever says other wise.............something's gotta be wrong with them! |

well i don't know if i would call myself an asshole but i do enjoy the music of mainstream artist's like the one's in dj mag's top 100 list. Hey that's just me and like i said, it was just my opinion so there was no need to call me an asshole just because what i like may be different from what you like!
