Ticket sales are happening.. Bassix downtown (217 W. Hastings) has tickets for $20 plus service charge right now.. and On Deck (416 W. Georgia) has tickets as well... I have also started a new convienient ticket sale location at broadway station.. Go to the "Super Save Calling Station Kiosk" at Broadway Station, right beside A&W... go to http://simplysexie0.tripod.com/ticketsales.htm there is a map there incase anyone doesn't know where to find the locations..

Thats easy. With parties like this, the majority of people out there don't want to pay $25+ a ticket. If your ticket prices were $15 you might sell 4 or 5 times the amount you would then if they were $25 or $30 if you bring in more people with cheaper prices, then you can get more money. When you have more money you don't need to cut corners! To justify $25+ tickets nowday you need to have some pretty good talent and a lot more of it, or people just won't see the value To justify $40+ at the door I think you would either need the party to be legal or at least to have some dj's with international status |

Thanks for your input Dave, I understand exactly where you are coming from.. People that do come will see the Value of their tickets and what they get for it rigt away.. So even if I don't sell out this party, I am sure that the word will get out about how my parties are run.. So to all of you that are coming, I can't wait to see you there..
I have tickets with the service charges already payed for at Broadway Skytrain Station right beside the A&W (at the "Super Save Calling Station" Kiosk).. So that will keep 2 extra dollars in your pocket to Buy something refreshing at the party.. See you all there, I am releasing the FINAL DJ list on Monday July 19,2004. Check http://simplysexie0.tripod.com/ticketsales.htm for A Ticket Sale Location Map... Cheers. |

sounds like a good idea but needs to be legalized or it will be shut down around one a clock when some dumbass calls an ambulance like at unite cuz they dont got 2 dollars for a bottle of water and cant see the tap to drink from it, looks like a good party but a sketchy party

totally guys, we're all stressed out about all the busts this summer. matt is a relatively new face in this scene and the moment he made comment that this party was going to be the shit. every body started floggin him with what he should have, could have, and isn't doing/ could do. why? mostly because a lot of people have invested time and money in to their own events and have been shut down before midnight. some people are we all saying:" be carefull?" while others are just saying "you're not going to pull it off...." he's talked the talk so lets see if he can walk the walk. I've learned the most about promoting through experience and my own mistakes and by watching the people around me. Those who have posted in this thread have giving alot of advise and what not to do. you should all get together and write teh novel of the century. "rave promotions for dumbies" I just don't think it's appropriate how matts being treated. we've all been in his shoes and he's getting put throught the gears.. don't doubt that. let see what he can do with this party |
