What originally hooked you into the DJing scene? I would say it was watching Marcus Visionary at Simple III. He was ripping it up and it was the first time I had ever heard drum & bass. I fell in love with the culture instantly. What type of music do you specialise in? I love the darker side of Jungle. However I'm a well rounded Junglist by all means. Whether it's Tech Itch or High Contrast -- it'll be in my crate. Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it? I would have to say the Wormhole E.P. by Ed Rush & Optical. I payed $65 for it. What is your most treasured record and why? That changes all the time. Which is why deejays allways refresh their top 10 every month -- ha! I've had the pleasure to throw down tunes at SONAR, Richards on Richards, Automatic Tuesdays, Fixed Fridays, GOOD Sundays, Elements Sundays, and the late Structure Wednesdays (which was a night held by myself and dj's Droid, and Evader MC) All Club nights that were held localy here in Van City. Have you got any DJing horror stories? Shy Fx after party... Ask my friends or ask me in person. Worst hangover ever. Are you a resident DJ, if so where? No residencies at the moment. Any other information? At this time I am working on building a drum & bass community here in the Nort West. NWDNB.BC.CA is a local forum designed to connect the people who make drum & bass culture their lives. Since the site was taken over by my good friend Trev Ulrich aka Psilocin recently, there has been a lot of changes to try and promote our local scene a bit better. I'm taking the role of quality control when it comes to content on the site. Althought there has only been a few stories posted on the site as of late, soon there will be more! The biggest mission of ours is to add more users to the site from all over the North West, including heads in Washington State, Victoria, Nanaimo, Kelowna and Calgary. On that note: If you have any content you would like to add, please forward it to me for a review. (only serious heads need to apply).
