Thornley @ union hall.
Venue was awesome, big but still intimate.
First band (the name escapes me ) was like blink 182 with talent. They were from mission , and I wouldn't be surprised if they "make it". Highlight was when they did a cover of "I just died in your arms tonight" Second band ws forgettable. (LEad singer was from Econoline crush, and they played a couple of those tunes) Thornley was amazing , hearing the Big wreck stuff was the highlight. If you like thornley , you need to see them live. They have a drummer that made Lars Ulrich look kind of weak. I was more entertained by the first warmup band than I was during the Entire velvet revolver show for a third of the price. |

The band you saw was FABER. The lead singer, Dave Faber, was one of my best friends in high school. They also do a killer cover of Cement Head too. The guy has been playing for like 15yrs.... we used to go to all his shows for his other two bands Toadl Jids and Seed. Luckily he's finally found some decent bandmates!!
They definitely are a good show and good band but I myself would not even come close to categorizing them as blink 182.... they are much more talented!!! :) www.faberband.com |

I was totally impressed .....they claimed we were the biggest crowd they had played for. Just based on that show i would buy their CD. |

All of the music and lyrics are written by Dave so I guess that's why the band took his name! They're developing quite the following here but I imagine opening for Thornley definitely put them in front of the biggest crowd they've played for. |
