Have you got any DJing horror stories? -Playing at an afterhours club and finding out once I got on the decks that one turntable would only play on 33rpm because the button for switching it to 45rpm did not work. It wasn't the worst thing but it got to be a bit annoying. -Getting paid half my fee before playing and not getting the rest and having the promoter tell me that I am his "best friend". He then gives me a record from his crate to make up for it. Other than that I haven't had too many horror stories. The one thing that bothers me though is promoters that don't handle things in a very professional manner. Any other information? -I am currently helping run the Unknown Forces and Drumworks Record labels which are based out of England with Dean Rodell. This year we are also starting up a new label called Subdivision Records. For more information about these projects you can check : http://www.subdivisionmedia.com Also, to hear streaming audio of live sets and some of my productions please check; http://www.missinnocent.com/MUSIC.HTML I am planning to come back to Canada in October/November of this year for about a month. If you are interested in booking a trance/techno dj for any events please get in touch with me. Thanks! :) Last edited by missinnocent; Jul 17, 05 at 12:04 PM. |
