YOJI BIOMEHANIKA (www.yojibiomehanika.com Hell House, Djlinks.com) Japan

As everyone who has ever experienced one of his DJ sets can relate to his energetic and uplifting sounds, changing any party venue into a fantastic dance atmosphere. He is a DJ who has enormous creativity as a producer always having new ideas. Undeniably a maestro in the studio, his knowledge and skill are reflected to his DJ techniques. For example, though he is spinning hard and high bpm records, he shows that with precision and avoiding key clashing his sets are so natural, many people say that this is just "Godly". He has already released many original songs in Europe. His most recent works were released on HELLHOUSE, his own label started in UK. Yoji has been an inspiration for many other producers and DJ's, with his unique influences appearing in the works of other DJ's internationally. On the first release titled 'GO MAD' from his label, he programmed an original hoover noise without using your typical sampled style. It' s sound got such a strong response it was described as YOJI'S STYLE HOOVER in a music magazine. Yoji is currently the headlining act for many parties in his home country Japan, including the number #1 regular party in Japan "VIVA" held at the world famous LIQUID ROOM and other events such as GIGA and ULTRAPUMPIN. Internationally, he featured in the line up of the "Dance Valley Festival" in Amsterdam for 2000 to 2004, the biggest outdoor festival in Benelux attracting aprox. 80,000 people. Yoji is rapidly gaining popularity in the Netherlands. His performance was also received well by the crowd at the recent "IMPULZ" party, also put on by the Dance Valley Crew. His latest achievements were events like last years Sensation Black and this year’s Trance Energy both by ID&T. Watch out for his new release Monochroma. Vancouver…..we have all been waiting for this, YOJI BIOMEHANIKA!!!!

JOHN O'CALLAGHAN (www.johnocallaghan.net) - UK

After spending most of his teenage years listening to rock and hip hop music, John discovered dance music at the age of 18. Not long after, he purchased his first set of decks and practiced every day for the following months. This new found love for dance music, coupled with his interest in computers led him to begin experimenting with music production in 1999. It wasn't long before he realised his true sound lay in trance music. By 2001 John was immersed in the scene and had generated a large interest in his music by means of Internet music sites and guest radio mixes on National Irish Radio Station 2FM. As his productions developed and his style matured, he produced a number of original tracks and remixes which were played by DJs such as Matt Hardwick, Les Hemstock and Jon O'Bir. It wasn't long before John & Neal collaborated together to produce some tracks, most notably "Inertia - The Emerald" which was signed to UK Label Discover Records and was played by Paul Van Dyk. John O'Callaghan pres. Mannix - Mercury was signed to the biggest record label in the industry, Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance. This track was played at all 3 Tiesto in Concert. With support from DJs and Producers such as Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Agnelli & Nelson, Matt Hardwick, John Askew, Rank1, and M.I.K.E amongst others, he has slowly cemented himself as one the finest new talents around. With several releases scheduled over the coming months and enquiries for DJ bookings rapidly coming in, the future certainly looks bright for this young Irishman." We are proud to bring this rising super star for his first ever Vancouver appearance!

SCOT PROJECT (www.scotproject.com Overdose) Germany

We are excited to bring you the higly demanded Scot Project back to Vancouver. He was one of the pioneers of hard trance. His unique combination of hard percussive elements, mixed with melodic trance rhythms has made him one of the most successful DJS/Producers in dance music today. Over the past few years Scot Project created waves around club land with appearances at Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Global Gathering, Homelands, Dance Valley and many more festivals and clubs around the club. "Fire Wire" that truly propelled him in to the hears of the wider dance community. Since then he has produced a string of sensational production and remix projects that have left hard edged trance fans begging for more. His superstar status in the UK was achieved by applying the Midas touch to Hennes & Cold "Second Trip", Beam vs Cyrus "Thunder in Paradise", Yoji Biomehanika's "Ding a Ling" and of course his own "O (Overdrive)". Come check him out at IMF2005 as we expect an unforgettable set from the one & only Scot Project!!

BENJAMIN BATES (www.benjaminbates.nl ID&T) Holland

Words from the man himself! - Biographies stink. Sadly, so does mine. Officially I should convince you that i am 'something different'. The problem is not that I am not different, the problem is that everyone is… Maybe it would be better if I told you my thoughts on music. How I like tracks that are bold and beautiful at the same time. That I am influenced by punkrock as much as I am by house and techno. Why I think Funk should always be written with a capital F. Then again, I guess this would bore you to death, and rightly so… A quick summary of stupid details then? That i was born in 1976 (who cares?), that I cannot recall my first gig because I was only 2 years old when I started deejaying (yeah right), that I produced over a 100 records (of which I like at least 2!). That i played a lot of clubs worldwide as well as some major events like InnerCity, Mysteryland and Sensation White (we are all so impressed). Boring, boring, boring…So just let me tell you what I’m up to: My name is Benjamin Bates and i just released my debut album. It's called 'N.E.V.E.R.L.E.T.A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G.K.I.L.L .T.H.E.P.L.E.A.S.U.R.E' and it's one of the best albums I’ve ever heard in my life. There are a few oldies on it (like the InnerCity 2002 anthem;'Locked Up!' and the should-have-been-an-Ibiza-anthem-single 'Thin Time') as well as a lot of new material. The next release will be 'Whole', but i will tell you more about that when we meet. If you want to get to know me better, visit my website http://www.benjaminbates.nl or contact Anna Agency to have me come over.
Looking forward!
Bates out…

THE YOUNG PUNX (www.theyoungpunx.com) UK

The Young Punx are a pair of underground UK dance producers who, throughout 2003 and 2004, have become a regular fixture on late night radio and dance floors. They’ve made their name with a series of cheeky and eclectic club tracks taking elements of popular culture and mashing them with pumping nuskool breaks and chunky techie disco house. Their humorous and anarchic remixing approach and innovative DJ sets have seen them rise in under a year to remixing for the likes of the Ministry of Sound and DJing at Radiohead aftershow parties. They were voted by BBC Radio One listeners as one of the two best bootleg remixers of 2003. They also sell an inexplicably large amount of records in Japan. After rocking the Dooms Night, we are excited to bring the Young Punx back!

I'd say IMF tends to be the best Solid party of the year, and by the way things are shaping up (and how stoked everyone is for Yoji), this one will likely follow tradition.

Good luck guys, not that you'll need it. This thing is going to be packed.
