lol i enjoyed myself for part of the night. Hand is still swollen and a little less mobile now and all my stiches stayed in place so i guess there really isn't much dammage.
LOL, sorry to the people who had to deal with me i was in quite the rage for a while there, but as soon as madame mercury came on things started to turn around, and dj venus just got everyone going!!!! GOOD SHIT!!! |

Thanks to the Evolve crew for having me out to the show! The venue looked great in both rooms and the sound seemed to be top notch in the main room!
Sorry if I was a zombie there for a bit, as at 4AM when I arrived at the venue, I had just gotten up like 30 minutes prior!  Thanks to all of you who stuck aronud from 5 - 6AM (Major Josh and his girl included) to check out my set! I was surprised at the amount of peeps that were there actually as normally the Maritime clears our REALLY quick after about 4. I played a mix of House and Breaks for some variety so I hope you peeps enjoyed it. Good seeing all the peeps I did pretty much all of which seemed to be drunk!

i asked a cop why they had the tarp up in the smoke pit and told him everyone is complaining about it cuz it is disgusting how smokey it was in there. he told me:
"the tarp is up becasue people pass drugs through the fence all the time so they have to put it up so its like a solid wall." nuf - thanks for the tickets man, picked em up last minute almost. anyways, i thought this party was pretty good. the setup was dope and there was a lot of good tracks all night. i almost didn't go to this one cuz i had a fever of 102 but i started to cool down so i went anyways, didn't pop all night which was a good idea cuz when i go back from the party i was just murdered by all the heat all over me body. i was hoping there would be gatorade there as i was planning on drinking a stupid amount of it to keep my body from dehydrating. oh well, water seemed to work for the most part. i saw a lot of people dancing up a storm, also a lot of new faces at this party. the most annoying thing was people kept comming and standing in my personal space. it didn't matter where i stood, it was like being at a grocery store on a saturday. good job evolve, nice to see another company comming up we need more productions cuz theres lot of dj's out there, including myself, who are looking for a timeslot. see you at the next one Last edited by B-Funk; Jun 13, 05 at 10:56 AM. |

Wow, what a gongshow!
This was such an awesome night! I'm still trying to recover...the body is definately hating me. The setup was amazing, and the vibe was killer all night kudos to the Evolve Team. It was a good size, plenty of room to dance and not soo many people that it felt like you couldn't breathe in the main room as I have experienced at other parties. I had to be pulled off the dance floor by my friends at around 7. I even heard a cop saying how he has never seen an event at Maritime last as long as this one did, I guess usually people leave way earlier, but we gaver till 7am! So Kudos to Attila and Evolve, from me and the cop, haha, and to that I must say the cops there were super chill, I loved that one by the door, he was awesome. Evolve's next event will be a definate must on my list! |

i had fun i guess... it was a long and sober night...
got to hang with old friends, met some new ones... basically went to support buddy carlos (dub c) he did an awesome job playing main stage really good hard trance.... blew the crowd away! way 2 go dub c... miss venus was super ill aswell |

As B-funk mentioned above, the tarp was used for security reasons. We're going to work on something for next time to provide the extra assistance for security while allowing for ventillation of the smoke pit. I didn't know that the tarping would be so thick.
I was also very surprised by how fast we went through all the change in the concession. I can gurantee that we will be overstocked with change for next time. Sorry for inconveniences. |

I had a fuckin awsome time! Main room set up was the best i have ever seen at the MLC. DetN8r vs Remeddie's set was really good and Paul Maddox was super nice!! Ben nice set, Major Josh you rock! I didn't think i would stay as long as i did, left around 5am.
Attila & Alje - Great Party! Nice Job. Allison-i didnt' recognize you I swear! Shawn- great job on the visuals Jac & Amanda- nice seeing you guys again. Nuff- I want that bag! Pam- I still have my butterfly tattoo on Tina- where the hell did you get all those different colored glow sticks u were throwing out??! |
