killer party...the lights OWNED!!! especially the huge green laser raver they had on the cieling for a bit...

security was A-ok in my book, i walked straight past them...they didnt check my pockets or my bag...i was kinda dazed out and just kept on walkin and ended up inside the rave with everything still in my possession...haha, thats a first for me. [hopefully not a last :166: ]

props to the blue louie viouttons, double stacked...hella good!!

I tried to warn you bro as you were going on... It wasn't the mixer that was fucked. The system in that room was cranked WAY, WAY to loud and as a result, the levels were completely off on the mixer IE: LED's on the channels and the mains would barely light up. As a result of that, massive bass vibration as the tables weren't suspended.

That sucks about your Final Scratch. Did it calibrate okay? I bet because of the vibration it wouldn't calibrate for ya properly.

That's why it's all about a DJ doing the sound check BEFORE the entire party starts. All those types of things need to be done properly before hand.

with the amount of equipment we had to set up in both rooms, we found ourselves running out of time by 9:30pm, and the stages weren't even complete. Therefore not enough time was given to do a proper soundcheck. This also contributed to the bass problems in the main room for the early part of the night.

so thaaaaats why there was lots of bass rumble during my set.. i tried turning down the bassbins, but it didnt solve anything..

heh figures, the only party i dont do my own soundcheck and theres problems..

ya final scratch calibrated fine...i duno what happened it just would play the tracks i guess...weird josh had the same problem!!
