Influenza
 Biography: Influenza is the Canadian breakbeat production duo of Jeff Malcolm (aka Psidream) and Jason Craig. Releasing a consistent output of mixes for public consumption, their DJ sets often explore the latest and greatest tracks by producers from around the globe, but also carry a lot of their own flavour and production work. These two work hard to bring you quality tracks on their label Epidemic Recordings, while never losing focus on their own work as Influenza. Since Influenza’s inception 4 years ago, they have been included on approximately 15 vinyl releases, and their catalogue is consistently growing! This is a true testament to the level of dedication they have put into their music. If you crank up the BPM a few notches, you will find Psidream’s catalogue of drum & bass releases has been building regularly over the years, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Combined, Jeff Malcolm and Jason Craig have played all over North America, UK, Europe, and soon Australia and New Zealand. Natural Progression, After being the party kid, became the promoter, then the dj, then the producer. What type of music do you specialise in? Breaks - Electro House Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it? No freakin clue, I actually sold all my records in 2003? Started buying again after we started getting a lot of out of town bookings because of the production work. What is your most treasured record and why? All of our own tunes really. Also I'd have to say that one record I did not sell, well two actually. Beber and Tamra "You Wonder" (staircase remix). Absolutely one of the most beautiful breaks tracks ever written. Then the second one I would never part with. The Hop Phenomenon, by Tsunami One and BT. What events have you played at? So many I can't mention, but a couple noteable ones were Fabric in london for Breakspoll. Also I love playing in Portland, Great city and good people. Freaknight in Seattle was also amazing, like 4-6,000 people in front of us, that was a sick feeling! Yeah, you have good and bad days. I am no machine when it comes to dj'ing so I'm sure there's been a couple horror stories, but nothing really juicy. Actually one time, I was playing in Pittsburgh, and this guy I had never seen before came up to the decks while I was spinning, and placed a piece of paper that said "BIG FAG!" right away, I knew it was Psidream's friend or something. I just noticed you mentioned beber & Tamra - you wonder(vocal staircase mix) is a beautiful track, i defintly agree with you on that the first time i heard it was on an old oddmud cd and i've bin listening to it ever since.......for sure one of my favourites.
