Drafted was born with an affinity for drum and bass music. In 2001, he became involved in hip-hop culture within Vancouver, and organized several breakdancing competitions, which eventually led him into the rave scene. Starting his own production company “Black Crack Entertainment”, based out of Edmonton, Alberta, he began his venture into the Drum and Bass scene. Black Crack Entertainment’s focus was showcasing talent based out of Edmonton and headliners from his hometown of Vancouver, BC. After relocating himself back to the west coast, his career began to soar. Playing alongside international talent such as Shy Fx, Skibadee, John.B, Sub-Focus, Shimon, Capital J, Chase and Status, Reid Speed, Freaky Flow, Psidream, TZA, Slip N Slide, Demolition Man, and local heros such as Slim Pickins, Pete Flex, Krusha, and Pacific, just to name a few. Drafted has proven himself to be one Vancouver’s floor running Dj’s, with unique and abstract mixes he continues to set off any dance floor he leads.
