Wholly shit! I'm actually going to post of FNK.
What an amazing Apex! By far the best one yet. Everybodies stages were so fucking big this year! Music was loud as fuck! And lights were bright as hell! The way a party should be. First off, thank you to Avana, Salim, and the whole door crew! The lineup was fucking chaotic, if you god damm ravers would calm down and shut the fuck up we could have gotten the lines seperated. I put wrist bands on some REALLY young ass kids. I swear they were like 14 and looked REALLY YOUNG. I also feel sorry for this group of teens that had a mom looking over them the whole party. Avana - time to relax babe. Go play your WoW and we will get together and drink soon enough. Cece - Thanks for the dinner at the hotel! You totally ran off from the doors you drool face! Yes, I know I am on FNK! See I told you I will go back for APEX. Lex - nice meeting you man. Get those damm shirts started. Myles - I bet you are just roasted right now homie. Andrew - You fucker! Drink it! Bozga - We were just rediculous last night bro. So fucking drunk man. Sir Kutz - Camels suck and your new CD is good. Awesome chillin with you... come back soon. Venus - You crazy crazy lady. I want to see those damm pictures! James - Fucking rockstar. You shove any of that ketamine up your nose yet? lol Triple D - Scafold master. dsl dude - Those last couple shots of bacardi with me just ruined you! Hahaha! Maggie - You dirty raver. I didn't catch either of your sets =( Amaan - You owe me a drink. There are so many other people I wanna shout out, but im so tired and burnt out it's stupid. Dead Mike, all the evole guys, LCU buddies, Bass Junkies, Swiftbeats, Rhia, Myra, and Mia. Can't think of anyone else. Well that is the end of my post. Good fucking times! I had way more fun than last year and I thought last year was amazing! The Mnemonic stage was rocking for sure and I had a blast when I played there from around 3:30-4:45am. I think that's the most fun I've ever had playing EVER!! Kids were still rocking out and dancing hard even as the sky was starting to glow near the end of my set. Thank you Canada and thank you Apex. To anyone who asked for a cd, I wasn't able to get them from my car in time before my set, but if you liked what you heard and want more PM me through here and we'll arrange something :D
Big ups to everyone from the Seattle crew that made it up. Sir Kutz was ripping up the speed garage when I happened to see him. Props to Blaze and everyone at the Floorplay/Sound Funktion "hidden" stage. I enjoyed myself once I found it, at least you guys didn't have sound bleed from other stages! I heard a lot more breaks this year on a lot more different stages which made me very happy. I'm definately hoping it means big things for breakbeat this year! I'll definately see everyone at next year's Apex! :) -Loki |

First of all, Thank you for everyone who came out to the Evolve stage. From the sounds of it, APEX keeps getting better and better every year! Way to go united promoters!
I know my guys put a lot of effort in, and with the great leadership of ALJE pulled it off and made it a success. ALJE / ROB / DSL DUDE / DAN J / BEN / MATT / & rest of the crew in attendence, thank you for your hard work and making APEX possible. Even though I was not there, you guys delivered. Great job! Get ready, there are big things coming up.. not only in Canada, but in Europe! TO ALL THE DJs on our stage - THX FOR SPINNING FOR EVOLVE and providing hours of fun for the people! -- you guys rock! AVANA / APEX PLANNING CREW: AMAZING JOB from what I've heard! Keep it up, next year - it's going to be bigger! WOW. Just got up and to work and DUUUUUDDDEEE my legs are TIRED from all the dancing!!
I had SO MUCH MORE fun than last year, it was fuckin rad. No lineup of cars when we got there, around 11:30 or midnight, but HELLA lineup outside... I grabbed my man's CDJ and (yes its old and ghetto therefore very large) and started walkin to the opening in the gate saying, excuse me pardon me, scuze me... hahahha... AND IT WORKED. I was inside the door in 30 seconds, ran to the swiftbeats stage to get some tiks for my homies outside, ran around lookin at all da stages while i waited fer em. > DAMN SEATTLE!!! ahahaha... propz to jeremy, and the whole seattle crew, the stage looked GREAT! glad to see that rad dance floor out in full force! That was awesome, Rob you killd it!! damn that was fresh, i was totally gettin down ta tha phat dnbbbb. couldn't help but start groovin! ps- way to secure the back area !! haha that was sick. > evolve, raddd stage like every year for sure. shit was dope... > boodang, nice spot, nice visuals, nice beats, all around a tight stage... thinking on it, just about every stage was better this year than last year... they were a lil closer together since there were more of them, which kinda sucked cuz soundbleed isht. but it was still cool. way way WAY more people than last year which also made it alot better... there were so many kids i wanted to see and didn't and so many i didn't expect to see but ended up seeing! wish we coulda stayed n gone to the lake sunday, but we had to pass out before drivin home. Gotta kick it fer a minute and smoke some herbalsss... that was dope. it was DOPE dope! hahaa.. *giggle* ps- WILLIS > U rock the shit. thanks again bro ;) that was PERFECT timing! :) LOLITA- my wifeyita~ i was so stoked to see u again sweeti. Apex....another cool party that us bass junkiez love to participate......can't wait for apex 2006...
First of all.....Man was it ever hot during the day......Not only did the weather wear me out but sweated like no tomorrow.....Maybe cause of the beers...... Thanks for the food from Evolve.....got my empty stomach to shut up after that ...... To Juice Productions Thanks guys.....good setup awsome sound....i think we stood up to the name because of you guys ..... Nice deep Bass..... Missy Stage Nice Stage.....Fun Beats.....Great music......Had always fun and danced my ass off everytime i got there...... Triple A Sweet bangin' Uk Trance - Hard House and Hard Trance....I like the whole idea of enclosed sound that you guys had......Ross Call me some time man ... you know why .... Evolve hahahahah lol oh man where do i start..... You guys gave'er man.....good sound ...cool visuals.....great beats.......always had a great laugh with you people from when abouts i showed up and starting setting up Scotty oh Great set man..... nice and clean...... Wellbelove Cool stage also had alot of fun around your stage....you guys played some cool house.....and i love house..... And then too my Dj's Alex Good House set man.....alot of good tracks that A) Haven't heard in a while or good remixe's.. Eric Prydz call on me track was good....old but got everyone dancing man..... Miss Marz Great Tunes....Loved the Benny Benassi track that you ended with ...... got alot of people going..... Dj Darren Buddy your rocked it man....One nice Solid Set...Year after year its more and more harder and sweeter.....loved it.... Might as well put my self ( Dj Impact ) Had a fun set...Played a little too Hard but came back to Hard Trance..... Erin Good set man....Hard Trance tracks that were brought from who knows where....For a first rave this size you did extremely well man....congrats of becomin a junkiez ...... Bass Junkiez Thanks to all the people that danced your asses off at our stage......and too all the people that came by and said hi to us....alot of friends and new friends.... Some people came by and asked about any events..... we are going to a show sometime at the end of the year or beggining of 2006 watch for that For now we are doing a event on EVERY LAST SATURDAY of the month @ TRIBECA in vancouver.... were are helping out Rosco P and Kyle Joygazm and his crew.... amazing party. boodang won this year.
entire party was one huge reunion for me. got to the gates at 9:30, walked to the end of teh line-up, and then walked to the gate, and skipped the wait. was 5 feet from the door, when sir-kutz cut infront of me, alongside venus. i was inside at 10. Who is the guy who filmed that old guy in teh grey shirt dancing on the swift beats stage? ree-fresh had good music going on all night. pirate ship was cool, saw bev spin, then i couldn't find the stage again. the multiple jungle stages was wicked. what was the stage with those dancers ontop? whenever i passed by, awesome songs were always on. to teh dj that played "waterman" in the morning, thank you. i liked lcu stage also. ....i lost my train of thought. |

was a fun night, i was soooooooooo drunk during sound check i went and layed down...... then next thing i know everyone was heading to the front gates and i had too try to book it running while pissed..... got really dirty from falling couple of times..... got even more drunk the 2nd time around and was hardly making it come 1 am so i did the inevitable and just got really fucking wrecked then..
to all those i met and saw it was great partying with you, i have some unreal pictures and memories. had some good times with some random girls i met, had a great time with the usual girls i see there, and had a wicked time with the girls from work!!! this was a awesome party all in all + they even had FOOD! MAJOR PROPS to alisha tho who brought me my sandwich at like 11 i thinkg (i think *DRUNK*) which i ate all alone in my tent.... never though 7/11 sandwich could taste so fucking good. I never though i would be one of those guys but i was rolling around for a while without my shirt on too :( |

Was deffinatly a party and a half was feelin a wikid good vibe the whole night everyone was there to party and all seemed in good spirits for the most part. Big props to Avana and crew who stressed out like no tommorrow puttin this bad boy together. Also, to all the promoters who came out big the stages this year put other years to shame also to the DJ's I heard some awsome sets throughout the night. Way to go all involved as always can't wait for next year.

Wow, what can I say......we didn't expect the turn out we got, but it was crazy amazing. This year was a definate record breaker!
Thank you to all those that waited in that line! I know how insane that was, I held up the fence on the other side. We tried several times to organize it, but every time I would yell, people would cheer! :( Some people lined up properly, but mostly, they just joined the blob. We tried to get everyone is as fast as we could, but I know that some of you were out there for a long time. To the promoters, you guys were excellent this year! You were organized and on time and your stages were amazing. Kudo's to Swiftbeats for being first set up! I am going to start planning next year soon, there is sooooooooooooo much that needs to be worked on. To all those that supported your favorite stage or the party, thank you, without you guys, the party wouldn't be what it is! See you all next year, I am going back to bed! |
