ya no doubt. They should of had like 3 kiosks setup at the entrance. 2 for general admission and 1 for vip. People started pushing the the fence in and thats when Avana started to scream at people telling them to stop pushing. I'm pretty sure she had to say that more then once. What was a little sketchy however is that I was talking to Ryan (Chet) over by the fence inside the venue and the security guy starts bitching at us to move away. So instead of him talking to his buddy on the other side of the fence he had to call him on his cell phone and we were only like 25-30 feet away.

Unfortuantely for the Leftcoast stage .. i chose a horrible spot this year and we had an identical sound system to the year before but this time were located in mad traffic!

Right in between Rhia`s & Twisteds stages. Twisted guys had a Riverside setup and Rhia was out to kill me from the start. LOL -- whoever said that comment about our stage sounding like shit all nite... I wouldnt go that far, sure we werent the loudest but the one speaker that sounded like it was blown was cuz one of our DJs had the gain cranked.. ppl that have a 600 pioneer know if u do that , its horrible and will distort. Fixed it up quickly tho.

In all I still thought we held out ground, for the small area we had - it was rockin real hard from 11-8.

A huge shoutout to all the ppl that were at the LCU stage all nite. HIP HOP does work at RAVES!

I cant believe I drank a 40 of tanguray. If anyone saw me .. i was a drunken mess. Fell into a tent twice, bailed hard 4-5 times. Rocked a prickle bush. That fuckin hurt.

Couldnt figure out why i had thorns in my back when i woke up today. Somehow i got a puffy eye too . LOL

In all it was a crazy crazy nite.. Apex jus keeps gettin better and better by the year. SO MANY PPL IN ATTENDANCE - cant wait till next year.

PS. whoever those girls were that flashed their TITS during my set. - You guys ROCk.

also where was SILVERWINGED and her Bombay!? - i lived up to my end :)

Apex...well,

the swifbeats stage rocked!! no doubt, I liked the location too. Dabbler had a good set that I thought was tainted by the mc-ing of verbal assasin..timothy wisdom... WOW that guy was "slick". I dont think I saw more then 10 people @ the twisted stage all night lol.

the best music to me came at around sunrise...the akeel vs mateo set SICK!! seriously guys..and B traits rocked the missy stage SOOO HARD it wasnt even funny.

I saw some old school people I wasnt even expecting like Amanda(justa girl) and ashley??? that was weird but cool...chris, breeny, lots of old high school peeps. then there were the usuals...angela...YOU WERE DRUNK nough said (loved the shot glass necklace) dave of the neverlookback type what a sketchy morning. Shannon Jeremy PROPS!! no joke, stage looked sweet, kyle mike n chris my maple ridge partners in...raving, well you know damn right!! so...

other than that it was good, the line up was GAY!!! but meh...and I got unseramoniouisly left in a tent by someone that I didnt see for the rest of the night....super gay!!!

BY far the best apex I've been to. There was so many people.

got there at 10:00am saturday , got home at 11:30 sunday.


every set on the swingkids/fnk stage was awsome.


Precise's hip hop set was kickass.


got way too drunk, and got Akeel way too drunk.

Apex was awesome!!

There was NO line control at all..it went from vip / non-vip line ups (seperate) to one huge crowd pushing through the gates with a whole lot of people at the back of the non-vip who were going to wait forever because that shit didnt move at all. SUCKED.

Really crappy I couldnt find you until the morning ryan..and james. Wish we had more time together ;/

All of the stages were excellent..each different. Loved the ree fresh stage! and Missy's stage!!!

The night went extremely fast (except for the 3 hour lineup...) It was seriously 11 and then and hour later it was 7! Really disturbing seeing little brothers of friends from highschool at a party.. very very disturbing.

I dont think I will ever understand the way people dress at parties. WHY would you wear black high heels, a mini skirt and a skanky top to an outdoor rave?? And boys.. whats with the 'tank tops'..not beaters..but actual tank tops. Capes? Bear/gorilla costumes? Ravers are almost a whole different species!!

EXCELLENT WORK by avana and everyone else (including the sometimes rude as hell security) for all there work! Cant wait until next year ;D

Tripping in the morning, lost all my friends and the rest were sleeping.

Thank god for the Boodang stage, they rocked it. Loud as fuck, nothing but the best Tidy Trax. Everytime I wondered off, I ended right back in the front of the stage with my chocolate milk.
Who was spinning there anyways? 6ish till the end...I dont remember any names from last night.

I scored a opening set at Sound Funktion at 9-10...I couldn't find the fricken hidden stage till my slot was over..I was dissapointed...Then I managed to score a better slot 11-12!! it was fucking awesome...I managed to get a decent crowd going too!...it felt great to play at a party! It felt even better when the rest of the Dj's on that stage gave me mad props on my set and the production manager was impressed with my skills, hopefully I earned a spot on his future Dj lineup,whatta awesome experience...I was kinda nervous of course but that all went away with a good set a monitors...hehe, I'm so glad I took the offer on the stage...Another night to remember!!

Scotty Oh!'s set was dope, as was sir kutz..hyperfunk was good as always and rhia.. u rocked it good at 8am.. haha.. was still dancing to your mini wrap up set afterwards.. awesome :) Started off as an interesting night.. had about a 10 minute huge from Myra, cuz she's awesome at hugging.. then im glad i got felt up in the line up, sprayed with bug spray and surrounded my many men so then every hole on my body was covered and at least touched.. yeah gross eh.. agreed but ill accept and move on and take it again for the team.
