Great show and Z-trip is definately a nice guy got my uneasy listening sleeve signed, but it's all bent cuz i think i passed out on it haha.
I think some weren't as impressed because they just expected miracles heh. Still an awesome show with a great live feel. I really enjoyed it and am satasfied. plus so many great people there, we must all party again soon. |

Z-Trip was fucking amazing! I thought the first half of his set and the encore (a fucking encore!) were definitely the stronger points of the show. Everything else though, the vibe, the people, the energy, were all nuts. Bus Driver was great too.
Hands down an awesome awesome show! |

nothing i can say here that hasn't already been said... awesome show, really good to see Z moving forward with his performance style and keeping a step ahead of the imitators. Goldenchylde & No Luck Club were great too, and Busdriver was a very pleasant surprise. props!!

Kid Capri has been around forever - i'm stoked to see him play.
Z-Trip has stated in several interviews (and his website) that his album and this tour really is about "shifting gears" and moving beyond the somewhat played "mash-up" sounds (*hate* that term) that has gotten to just ridiculous levels what with pre-made "mashups", stupid tunes (gee! lets put eminem over the Eye of the Tiger! ugh), and djs with no skills riding the wave of popularity. Last night, instead of being just a dj rocking a party, it was a *show* and what a hell of a show it was. The vibe was intense, Z was spot on with everything he did (totally didn't expect him to get on the drums) and you could just feel the enthusiasm from Z on stage which easily infected the crowd. I've been following his stuff for years now (long before the term "mash-up" even existed) and if it's one thing I've learned is that Z *loves* what he's doing, loves his fans, and just loves music in general - and it really shows from his performances. Huge ups to spexx for doing it up proper. Hope to see Z back soon. |

Woooow. Amazing show, these guys topped my expectations. Only caught the very end of No Luck Club, but Goldenchylde made the night start out well for me. I liked Z-Trip's "the wall"-esque beginning and then Don McLean as the first track. The rest just kept getting better; it was the most interesting "dj set" i have watch from the drums to Bus Driver to all of them together. Bring him back soon, Spectrum!! Max and Andrei, you guys were great. <3 Andrei, i hope your head is ok!!

z-trip was really good. i didn't really dig the first part of his set. maybe that was because the speaker in the top right corner was crackling and distracting, but finally they fixed it. once he started really getting into it i really had a lot of fun. his scratching is amazing and all his mash-up stuff (right word?) was fucking awesome. he's a really personable guy, too...i liked how he chatted up the crowd a lot and made us feel really good to be there.
highlights: 1) radiohead song 2) who are you by the who 3) that mc guy who can talk fast and looks like he should be teaching history at a high school 4) the cowbell 5) live drumming for about ten minutes i had this guy who was ripped on e screaming into my ear about clubs in LA and how he wore pink shirts so he was okay with gay people even though he wasn't gay himself although he said he wanted to grab my ass. i've never had so much spit sprayed at my left ear in all my life. thank god i finally got away from him. thank you zeeeetrip for making music. i can't wait for mike relm, though. personally i like him better. just more fun choices of music, better sence of humour and amazing beat juggling, scratching and video scratching skills. i heard there's a commodore show coming up with him? |

^i think mash-up sounds cooler than blends.
yeah that mc was so great. i couldn't help picturing him talking in front of students at some high school and teaching them about the american revolution. i think it was the glasses and beard. i bet his wife is hot. |
