Shambhala's ticket costs about $150, but the entire weekend together probably ended up spending me close to $600+.

No Vancouver rave that I have seen come through has every been worth a 100 or close to it for me so I would deffinatly have to say no it wouldn't of been. Though Seattle was deffinatly worth the 40 dollar ticket 10,000 people wow.

well my ticket cost $90 but i didnt buy it sooo i basically got in for free~ and i dun think the party was at all worth the $90 it was barely worth going for free!!! I had such a horrible time at the party! All i liked about them was the music not the freaky people that were FUCKED on E and kept talking to me as if i was their best friends or sumthin....GRRRR iono there were sum good things i liked the tree spirits :) and being wif a few friends :) but i think i was bitchin to much b4 i got a cab home STUPID CABS!!! LoL

i can tell that you arent an old school partier. all it used to be about was goin and meeting new people and having the feeling liek everyone is your best friend. i love meeting new people, chatting it up with everyone in the smoke pit. its half the fun. nowdays too many people are so damn cold and unfriendly.

quite often, the ticket price doesnt match the party by FAR. think about this. Apex was only 15 bucks, and was arguably the best party of the year.

i think sometimes people need to forget the price of the party and stop comparing prices, and trying to figure out their bang for buck. its not about that.

Your right, when i go its to experience music, to dance and to meet lots of new people, when i'm feeling angry or depressed i don't go to a packed arena, with loud pounding music, full of people fucked on who knows what. Ummmm i used to enjoy that but i now i get really bitter and i dont like half the randoms that come up to me!!! well all my friends quit raving i only have like 3 that still are and it sucks!!! I dont like really sketchy people some are cute but most are annoyin and iono ive been raving for over 3 years!! im not that old school but im not new to the scene either

haha yea bad trips suck. i had a terrible trip at apex (but i loved it overall)

cause my friend (who is known to ravers in the lower mainland as the chick guy, cause he was carrying around two baby chicks at apex) came up to me and sed someone gave him like 300 caps. he brought out a handfull and i was hippyflippin on 1 cap and a nice handfull of mush, and he had never seen e before. he said "OMG there are mike and ikes in here!"

so we gobbled down the mike and ikes as if they were candy. i say "as if" because we had never seen pure mdma gell caps untill that night.
we dont know how many we had and we both could have died easily. or killed ourselves lol.


p.s. did anyone see me (the guy witht he POLIZEI shirt) walking around outfront with a girl that looked like she had done heroin at about 10:10, right when the doors opened? SHE had a bad trip, for sure!

man, my night was so bunk, 1 i had a firefighter officers uniform on + i was on mushrooms, so when the firemarshall bitched at me about wearing the uniform i tweaked for like 4 hours and then i was falling asleep; plus it seemed like a very unfriendly crowd that night, but it could be because eveyrone thought i was a firefighter? lol

haha it did seem reletively unfriendly. later around 5 or 6, the smoke pit was pretty chill. i generally find that the nicer partiers stay till the end. its all the assholes and stuff that have no clue how to party and burn out before 4 oclock lol.

i talked to TONS of asians that barely knew english around 6 ish. people loosen up alot towards the end.
