Got there around midnight and left at 4:30. Definitely the most diverse audience. I was simply entertained by the mix of people there -- hip-hoppers, b-boys/b-girls, ravers, rockers, etc. that attended! Nice to see everyone getting along too! I found it hilarious that BET (50 Cent and Usher) was on one of the TV's and right next to it a dude was on stage rocking it with his guitar! Meanwhile you had all the rave lights/visuals going on in the background!
The main room was spacious and I like the stage but what was up with all the wedding decorations!!! HAHA! If you looked up at the centre of the ceiling there was all this white satin ribbon and this balloon drop thing! The upstairs room looked like someone's ghetto basement! Water was dirt cheap at $2 which was awesome! Where was the lobster and sushi dinner???????? All I saw was sandwiches! Wiggles and son was cool. Portia Surreal's set was sweet but her performance was lacking! Nice tits -- I thought she could spin with them! HAHA!!!! AND those big red BALLOONS!!!!!!! I personally think that is gross but crazy funny to see! I had a good time but was disappointed at the lack of attendence and I wanted more trance! I guess there really isn't much of a choice but I didn't particularily like the venue either. More christmasy decorations would also have been nice. |

this one was good enough that i could retire the rave scene and never come back and still wear a huge smile on my face for how it ended for me!!!
i got to kick it back stage and talk with and dance with with one of my most favorite b-boys in the world!!!!!MR.WIGGLES***it only took 9 years!!! hahahah.. thanks to all my friends and everyone else who cheered me on while i dance up on on stage and to josh, christine and dave for making it happen!!! HUGE thanks to kim for making me do it!!! and to wiggles for taking all that pain and still showing up for this show after his knee was so fucked up.... and still schoolin everyone else out there!!! and to the b-boy crew ...you guys were sick!!! (why you guys were givin me props..i could never compare:)..) pic and videos i want to see it all!!! peace!!!!!!!!!!!! |

oh yah, I totally forgot to mention, for the amount of risk you took last night to throw that party and the fact that it was all 19 plus, I tip my hat to you. Great production, I think I can speak for everyone when I say last night was the shit!
HUGE props to the promoters and the people willing to get something new going in the scene, any way I can support I'll be there for sure. (and the bitch who owns the place: chill out a bit, you can't take the damage deposit just cuz some fucking assholes decided to smoke inside, it happens, get over it, we didn't burn the fucking building down) |

Unfortuntly I missed Wiggles, but I did catch a bit of Portia. People in the front deffinently missed out. Her tits were no where as hot as her glitery ass :p |

Alright where do I start..... oh right.... so I arrived there to early..... on my way there I drink 2 sobe's and 1 redbull... heart really didn't like that at all... was hurting for most of the evening, and on top of that my big toe on my right foot is sore :(. Was standing outside and cb shaw came out I guess to grab some air.... had a little chat with him and such....
Anyways.... Illesha and Manos one absolutely killed it in room 2.... Kicked my night into high gear...... cb shaws set: omfg brilliant ... a dj, a guitarist, a person who is doing visuals awell as using a novation x station midi controller on the laptop..... absolutely amaxing. Portia Surreal: interesting beginning... a few people were weirded out.... gotta love the tribal/progressive house set... although there were a few mistakes during her set (heh her set, DOH!) it was awesome... Her little act as well.... dayum.... thats all I have to say.... Monica Electronica: brilliant set as well...... In all I had a great time... Met pat (pennywise) and silverwinged for the first time which was cool... nice seeing you guys... also nice seeing jeff (wizzfish) and tim (felix) there as well... Priceless highlights of the evening... Tim getting half a can of beer just poured on him and then he runs and chases the guy... Or during cb shaws set someone throws pat's hoodie to him.... he's like "Woah they gave me a free hoodie..... hey wait a minute... thats my hoodie!!!" That ice sculpture was pretty dope as well... Drive home was interesting.... foggy as hell and I almost fell asleep at the wheel. found myself driving right in the middle a few times on the highway... Good thing I made it home in 1 piece... |

odessa opening put me in the mood for more punk rock and no rave, but then i drank and it was all good. mr wiggles and his son were freaking amazing, the circle before wiggles came on was super nice as well when his son called everyone in. stand down rocked it, although throwing hard objects at ravers isn't always a great idea, some kid behind me got hit right in the face. i got a cd and a t-shirt though so whatever. paige, tequila much? gia, oldschool has returned. and pat, way to elbow that girl in the face, she looked pissed. what a jerk

Sorry that some of you missed out on Portia's titties cause they were amazing. Definately the highlight of the night....especially when she poured champagne down that chicks ass!! does she have ass implants? ... cause i've never seen an ass like that. Wiggles performance was sick, but not as sick as he was 2 years ago at plaza. According to him he fucked up his knee and tore some ligaments or something.... he says he's getting old but whatever he's still fucking amazing. I managed to squeeze a 20 minute dance lesson out of him after his performance just like a did 2 years ago. |

It was nice to see such a diverse crowd going off to everything last night. The jungle in the upstairs room was spot on. The acts on the main stage were different, but definately entertaining.
Wiggles, his son, and Portia all had a great time and said they really enjoyed the crowd reaction. Maybe there is some hope for the scene up here. Just to clear things up a bit, its CBshaw, not CDshaw, and he is a very talented man. And his girlfriend (the dancer) was not only hot, but also very nice. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to see him at another show in Vancouver. Another excellent show by Josh and Dave. Keep up the good work boys. To everyone who missed this show, I hope you realize now that these boys don't mess around, and they will always put on a good show. Look forward to seeing more people out for the other shows coming up. respekt |
