Thanks for coming with me Alla... Awesome show...great vibe...LTJ definately rocked it! Though I must say I wasn't that impressed with MC Conrad :( The sound system didn't seem that good either :S Condrad seemed to sound drowned out. Mixologist should have been on before LTJ...was a bit hard after LTJ's set...but they still were awesome :) I will def be there on tuesday to see them rock it again! OHH i had soo much fun! it was a really good night! (thx akeel the closet dnb lover) i was quite drunk by the end of it all got home so late. bukems set was soul soothing, the kind of dnb i like to smoke some joints and chill out too. im excited for mixologists on tues..more my style for shaking my booty

that was the sickest shit! i was loving it! started out pretty hard to carry on from the vibe illesha was carrying then moved into the classic ltj sounds everyone came to hear. gotta love dnb thats pleasant to listen to... real musical shit and some pretty sweetass beats and drops. loved the seriously chopped up amen breaks then the grooved up beats. haha my gf in the beginning was thinkin what the heck is this stuff and why are people dancing like theyre cracked out? into ltj's set though she was getting the idea and by the end was loving it. massive respects for LTJ and Conrad. Those guys know what theyre doing at a whole new level.
once mixologists came on and dropped the heavyass shit, we were just like ah fuck this and bounced. hehe it was a strange transition from pleasant music to crazyass noise but whatever i'm sure they rocked it good as well. bohhhhhhhhhh! hopefully fabio will roll in one day |

really good turnout... i had an amazing time... tho my feet were fuckin killing me, DAMN HEELS.
Conrad. my favorite MC, I was at Whistler show, Victoria show AND Vancouver show, and each time he amazed me. Bukem played for 3 hours in whistler, Con didnt even take a break, he kept things rollin for the whole set. |

yeah conrad was wayyy better than any other mc i've ever seen. instead of biggidy, biggidy, biggidy boh like the skibba, shabba shouting we hear all the time........my ears actually really enjoyed it instead of saying ouch! he has an amazing voice to so he was able to throw in some mad vocals to some tunes! conrads vocals matched ltj's music perfectly. i'd say music drowning out the mc is muchos better than the mc drowning out the music.....imo! and mixologists going on before would have been a not so wise decision. if you started it pumped ltj's set would have seemed way too mellow. end it with a bang i say. huge ups to the promotors on this.....you know how its done right! now skibba and shy......there's a different story.........who's ready to get HYPA??? t-minus 4 days :) my ears are prepared! *edit* p.s. i know nothing about throwing parties and these are just my opinions, which everyone is entitled to their own!!!!!!!!!!! :) Last edited by TrixX; Jan 23, 06 at 04:48 PM. |

As always, it was a blast. Everytime I see LTJ and Conrad live, I remember why I haven't stopped listening to them in 9 years. Mixologists were nice too, but I couldn't get into them after LTJ, and I would've preferred a 3 hour set. I got more than I paid for though, so I can't really complain ;)
It's already been said, but the commodore was PERFECT. |
