Some very good times indeed... and extremely good for business as well.

The Ultra Music Festival was... interesting. I laughed because it was this MASSIVE rave of like 100,000 people with a shit load of talent having the same challenges/problems that we experience up here!

Met, saw and heard lots of great breakbeat talent... Krafty, Stanton, Ursula 1000, All Good Funk Alliance, Fort Knox Five, Freq Nasty, Deekline & Wizard, Freestylers, Kid Kenobi & MC Shureshock (one of the best MC's I've heard), Evil Nine, Pendulum and the list goes on... Can't forget about our Canadian peeps - Vinyl Ritchie, Matt the Alien, Smalltown DJ's!

Started things off right with the Defected party which was good... Jamie Lewis rules.

My favorite set 2 years in a row now was Jask. Blew the roof off Amika. Even Azim approved!

yeah neither did i...there was just way too much going on to try and cram everything in, absolutely great time though!

highlight for me was running into kraig with his new yoga mat to try out on the beach. :P

I forgot to mention one of the highlights!

Went and partied at the invite only Versace mansion party! What an AMAZING house... like insane. It was like being inside an Italian palace! -- The damn toilet seat was solid gold!

Felix da Housecat was headining outside in this amazing courtyard and opening up for them was The Glimmers who were also really cool -- www.glimmertwins.com

PS: it was open bar ALL NIGHT. :p

TOTALY AWSOME!

I dont know where to start... just so many great fun, exciting, and omg stories. You name we got it :p Deffinently going again next year and probly the one in Amsterdam this October with Sean and Kyle.

Highlights:

-Spanish Akeel
-Checkers
-Jerry's (I managed to eat my entire pizza on the last night :p)
-Waiting in line to buy a few records and having the producers (from spain) of the track come up to me and sign it!
-Sneaking into pool partys serving free beer
-SAW @ Shine!!! (I think thats all ill share on that night)
-Nikkie Beach (best and most beutiful venue I ever ever seen)
-Chattin with Sander K's Lable Manager on the pool
-Over 24 hours of none stop drinking with kyle!!!
-ULTRA (I think it was almost too much... from Derren Emerson, Grooverider, DJ that looks like Bev, Hernan, Eric Marilo, Prodigy, The Killers, Carl Cox, Seb Fintain, Armin Van Helden, Paul Van Dyke, Watching BT AND Krafty Kuts at the same time on diffrent stages, Infusion and... Sander Klidenburg "THIS IS MIAMI")
-Super sketchy Breaks Party in the most gheto part of town and then having wizard and whats his face steall our cab
-WMC Confrence (personaly I got alot out of it and really enjoyed it. -Sasha and Digweed... lasting till sunrise in the Tarrence at Space Club with Steve Porter and other amazing House DJ's Some really neat and funny pannels)
etc etc etc....

Overall I had an awsome times with Christine, Akeel, Sean, and Kyle. Met alot of cool ppl from around the world who are all into the same kinda thing. I found the vibe of everyne including super star dj's with very positive and freindly. Came home with alot of insperation and a really good feeling about the industry for once.

PS: Cant stop thinking about DVDJ's!!!!
PPS: Akeel I have ur money
PPPS: It was alot different than I expected. We got into almost every party free and I barly spent $1000 for the whole week including accomidation. I think my biggest expence out of anything was cab fare. Next year LOCATION!!!!
