Responsible for some the years biggest tunes and each an accomplished dj , this squadron of dancefloor destroyers are set to bring Vancouver the finest in cutting edge drum & bass! Featuring: T.Z.A - Seattle / USA BARCODE / OBSCENE / FREAK / ALGORYTHM www.tzadnb.com Emerging from the city of Seattle, artist T.Z.A (Taylor Long) in the last year has been labeled as one of the Northwest's best up coming producers. With a wide range of early influences from jazz to trip-hop, metal to ambient soundscapes, T.Z.A's sound strikes a balance of well thought out beat patterns and dark melodic textures. Over the past year, he’s increasingly gained support from the likes of Dylan,Bailey Dieselboy, Tech Itch, Kryptic Minds, Counterstrike, Evol Intent, B-Key and more. In 2005, two of his tracks were released on Barcode, a sub-label of Renegade Hardware, and a 12” on Obscene, Dylan’s sister label to Freak. Also, releasing a 3rd track" Violence" for Barcode's featured debut LP 'Us Against The World, and a remix of a Counterstrike's "Can't let Go" for Counterstrikes Algorythm imprint/South Africa. Having recently completed the Violation Tour with studio partner in crime SPL and his newest tune ' Hunker Down' set to drop July 24th as part of Barcode Recordings 018 , you can expect a set full of dubplate pressure and rattling bassbins!Get ready to be blown away by a true west coast heavyweight! KRUSHA BARCODE / OBSCENE / HEAVY 2006 has been a break out year for Krusha as his brooding studio productions have been unleashed on the international scene. His forthcoming material for Obscene has been getting play from the likes of Dieselboy , Dylan and the rest of the darkside movement. His newest concoction for Barcode , ' Pledge Of Allegiance' , has been described as "a metal tinged monster with new school glitch mayhem. Anti American sentiment makes you want to start a fucking riot." Expect nothing less when this one man wrecking crew lays it down in a long overdue performance showcasing his bone jarring productions! PSIDREAM BARCODE / RENEGADE HARDWARE / 1210 / RED LIGHT Psidream is commonly regarded as one of the fastest up-and-coming drum & bass producers in North America. His music has been supported by many of the world’s top drum & bass DJ’s, including Andy C, Bailey, Ed Rush, Dieselboy, Zinc, L Double, and Pendulum. Recently, Psidream has produced various releases for legendary UK label Renegade Hardware and its sub-label Barcode, most notably “Zero Hour”, “Stomping Ground” and “In Effect”, a collaboration with fellow Vancouver producer Pacific. Two more tracks with Pacific, “Hazardous” and “Afterburner”, have recently been released on Ryme Tyme’s highly respected 1210 Recordings. Other highlights include “Unsung”, a collaboration with Shadow Law Recordings owner Mayhem, which was recently released on Optiv’s Red Light imprint, and a well-rinsed remix of “808” by oS for Cymbalism Recordings. Psidream has also been busy in the studio finishing some big remixes, including his rework of “Lost Contact” by hot up-and-coming producers Alliance for Incite Recordings, a drum & bass remix of “Audio Damage” by well-established breakbeat producer Future Funk Squad, and most notably, his remix of Dom & Roland’s 1998 techstep classic “Trauma”, released on Renegade Hardware. Psidream is also set to appear with two tracks on the next Shadow Law single, with “Faceless Witness” (his second collaboration with vocalist Mecha) and “Ready To Roll”. No stranger to the Vancouver massive , you know this hometown favorite brings the ruckus each & every time he steps up behind the decks! PACIFIC BARCODE / 1210 / DSCI4 / AUTOMATIC Down since day one and a major player in Vancouvers legendary jungle scene , Pacific is making major waves in the global dnb industry . His tunes have received extensive play from Ed Rush, Matrix, Doc Scott, Dieselboy, Lee, Pendulum, C4C, and D Bridge as well as radio exposure from Bailey, Friction and Flight. Early 2005 saw the release of two critically acclaimed tunes, Centepod (Urb's March 2005 single of the month) and On Your Mind, results of a serious session with Noisia and Mayhem, as well as a release on Cyanide and a remix of house star Lee Cabrera on the famed C2 imprint. Last summer saw Pacific's first collaborative release with Psidream, the gigantic "In Effect" on the mammoth Barcode LP, "Us Against The World", and the pair have released material on RymeTyme's esteemed 1210 Recordings.Dropping an ep on DSCI4, a single on Uprising as well as vocal and dub remixes of the legendary Danny Howells of Global Underground fame and the infamous remix of 'Welcome To Jamrock' has brought Pacific to the forefront of today's hottest dnb artists. Ohhh yea...get the word out people, cause this is gonna get messy...and that drink special ensures that shit. Pacifc, Psidream, Krusha...BIG up to a local trio making waves in the international drum and bass scene in the first of many Future Roots/Rype Entertainment events. HYPE HYPE that shit.
