Summer Break Music Festival - Aug 20/2005
Saturday August 20th Silverwaters in association with Exert Productions proudly brings to you:
For the first time in years Exert Productions is back in action with Silverwaters to bring you and "Old School" style Summer Massive!! We miss the days of Summer Love and all of the other outdoor massives there used to be back in the day. This summer we want to bring back the old times with an affordable party in the middle of the summer. We've seen the success of Shambala and Burning Man festivals and we would like to provide a party experience like that to the Vancouver scene. We want all of you old schoolers to come back and experience the "Summer Break" party series with us!!! On August 20th 2005 Silverwaters Productions in association with Exert Productions proudly brings to you our annual Summer Break Music Festival. We have joined forces with six of Vancouver’s most elite promotion companies to offer six stages, each with their own unique theme. What does this mean for you? You will be witness to massive headliners alongside the best dj’s in the city, playing the best music in every genre displayed at this event. On this full moon night come dance in the forest, under the stars as we celebrate our music culture. The Beat 94.5 “Hip Hop/DnB” Hosted by Emotionz Coolio - www.coolio.com Los Angeles Well we wanted to bring some old school flavor to the party so we figured what better way than to dig up this old school party rocker to come out and remind us what parties used to be like back in the day. This Grammy Award Nominee has had numourus hits from “Gansta’s Paradise” to “Fantastic Voyage” and has started work on a new album which will feature members of the Bone Thugs and Cypress Hill to name a few. Get yo asses up front when this cat comes on cause he’s gonna take you back to the good ‘ol days! Bad Company UK – BCUK, Virus, Ram, Renegade Hardware - UK Silverwaters + Exert regretfully announce that J Majik will not be performing at Summer Breakz later this month due to circumstances beyond our contol. In addition to their own stellar output, they also run BC Presents, the premier label for the nasty, future funk sound sweeping through dnb dancefloors worldwide. Expect an intense performance rolling out the grimey-est dubs on the scene as Bad Company busts through a peak-time mainstage set - heavy business guaranteed! Sweatshop Union – Battle Axe Records, www.sweatshopunion.com - Vancouver Based out of Vancouver these guys tore the stage apart at last years show so we had to bring them back for another stunning performance. Since you guys are going ahead by using the Exert name why don't you just call it Nasty? or Imix or better yet why not Gimme a break? These are parties that were Exert. This is a Silverwaters party with the help of Jay C.... Couldn't u guys use the Red name? Watchout for the mosquitoes...they might bite you where you don't expect it!!!
