Repeating oneself
I work in a photography studio with the grads and school pictures.
I swear I get about 500 calls a day with people basically saying the same thing over and over again. Now, if they would actually read the information that is provided to them, they would come to realize it really isn't that hard. I worked a 10 hour shift today to catch up on the 40 emails, 54 messages and about 100 order problems(which i couldn't finish) in one day to return because most people are a bunch of idiots. But the thing that pisses me off the most is when I say something to a customer and they say "Are you sure?" No, I have no idea what i'm talking about, however your the one asking the question. Not to mention, some of my staff isn't to bright either. Does anyone work in a place like this?

Story of my life. I work as a Project Coordinator for Microsoft. The emails, the phone calls, the faxes....it makes me not want any kind of contact once I leave work. Sometimes I wonder how some ppl can just be soooo dumb. All I want is to go home and lock myself in my room lol But still there is something about the job that keeps me there.
But this week was definetly a wowzer!!

You'd be surprized at how dumb some of the Masters students at UBC are. Not all of them but WOW its depressing to see really.
I know how you feel about being kept there...I think I enjoy watching peoples stupidity. I had my manager call in sick twcie (shes NEVER missed a day in the last 4 years apartley) and one person she hired didn't show up 3 times!!! No phone call no nothing. So, its me that gets to work the overtime. I have nothing better to do so I really don't mind, but SHOW UP FOR WORK....some kinda of full-moon this week or something Last edited by shebavpg; Sep 23, 06 at 12:43 AM.
