wow man. sorry to hear it!
I really dont know how things like this would work. But I would assume that if you are able to press charges and get the kids who did that to your car to pay for it I would do it. You've got witnesses and everything, I dont see why you couldnt. |

I'm very sorry to see the damage to your car, that's horrible.
Of course you are feeling overwhelmed against all these problems you're experiencing. These psychotic assholes are violent, evil people operating on group ego. I heard about your "ejected" DJ experience as well. Don't take this too personally because this isn't the end of the world. $300 is a tidy sum of money to lose, I only hope karma comes back to you in a kind way in the near future, as you seem a good sort. Maybe you should get away from the blazing and parties and concetrate on your dj skills, production, etc. It seems that you have a some bad types drawing to you. It's better to be careful and watch your moves now. I can give you an example; I got was punched in the face by the biggest asshole, because he claimed I ruined his chance of getting laid at a party because I wouldn't be his slave and jump into a lake to fetch his football. (its a stange situation, but true) I walked down the street and complained of my problem to a 7-11 employee and a customer overheard me. He approached me as I left the store and then hit me again! Yes, he saw me as being wounded and wanted to continue the evil. The short story is, I flagged a cop car within 5 mintued, we found him 1 minute later and he went home in a yellow box called a paddywagon. The evil people will be punished, one way or the other. |

This is a hard situation to deal with. Your car will be fixed. However, the idiots might still come back or someone else might come and do some other damage.
I have recently moved away from the city that I felt was causing my life to go downhill. If you ever get the thought that "hey... maybe my city is interfering with my life" - then follow those feelings and act on them. Even if it means moving to a new city and starting fresh. I'm so happy that I left behind all the people that were brining me down - and now I know not to ever meet or be friends with such people ever again. I also limit who can come into my house - the only time is if my friend brings someone I don't want over at my place, I just suck it up and wait till he/she leaves and act as if everything was cool. Next time though I tell my friend nicely to not bring anyone into the house I don't know unless they think that he/she is a cool person for me to meet. I also started being a bit smart and when someone comes over who I didn't invite - I tell them that I was about to leave the house and go for a walk (and I do it). I call it "traffic control" - I have total control over who I see and who comes to see me. You should start doing the same... make it so that everyone knows you are selective of who comes to your house and who you invite. Another thing that might help is to not press charges against anyone and just let it slide (but I'm not saying that Trevor shouldn't press charges... cause in his case he should). Get your parents to help you repair your car and not the idiots who broke it. Also, don't get too involved in thinking about what had happened but start thinking about what you can do in the future to prevent such thing from happening again. Anytime you think about the past, you are wasting your thoughts when you could be thinking about something in the future or something more productive. Whenever you get a thought about "having bad luck lately" - why not put those thoughts aside (and maybe think about them later), and meanwhile, think about WHY you're having bad luck and if there's anything that you can do to change it. Start by looking at the people you hang out with, cause of the times they are the problem to begin with. |
