ooo look at me! I live in Kits!
Seriously, to the lady at the Dan-D-market today hassling the small cashier girl. Just because you live in kits does not give you permission to be a pretentious b*tch at the counter to someone who is trying their best to do their job. People like you make me sick! You're just some middle aged, homely, failed "arteest" who has read a couple of Margaret Atwood books while sipping your organic soy latte frappe 37 degree whatchamacallit and looking at paintings of forests by emily carr in the local coffee house and wondering why the only thing colder than the box of frozen yogurt in your grocery bag is your untrimmed box that hasn't been played with by your constantly absent husband (who is most likely doing his young and playful secretary) in years!!!
What gives you the right to go into a store and make someone's life miserable over a couple of goddamn apples. The only consolation I think the girl had was when I said to her: "Wow, I totally think you guys should be allowed to slap some customers." and the person behind me laughed and said: "totally." Poor girl. :(

Sort of like this lady in cosco yesterday.
She drops her full LARGE coffee on the floor, looks at the lady who just happened to be giving samples out in that row and said "Whoops, theres been an accident" And then she walked away..didnt even pick up the cup. I was coming in the other direction and saw the whole thing..and as im passing her, she puts her buggy out so I cant pass..and grabs like 4 boxes of taquitos..and gives me a dirty look...I told her "You could have atleast picked up your cup, bitch" I was sure she was going to slap me..but she just walked away with her big gut hanging over her pants..and her way to small shirt up above her belly button...the poor sample lady was soo pissed off..she was like "Does she think im her slave" And then that same lady was DEMANDING that someone from cosco follow behind her to deliver some item that wouldnt fit in her car. I should have spit on her. I hate people.

Hum, so far the customers in Kits at the stores I've worked at/for and the service I've received as a customer myself *even from busdrivers*, have been great! They are so laid back/friendly...
But I did notice that some ppl tend to have a tendency to stare you up and down... I dunno if that was just to me though :P

the store im working at right now, most of the customers are really nice so its not a problem.
but whenever i did get bad customers, I'd either give them a cold glare in the eyes and say something snarky all the while maintaining a smile, or just abruptly end the exchange with "oops! excuse me, ill be back in one minute" which really meant I'd be back in 15 minutes after my smoke break.

I use to work in kits before I was transfered the the West Vancouver store (ooo big difference, cept there they are just trophie wives) and there are some people who are wayyyy too chill and then there are the uptight ones that like ot make other people's days rotten. Everyone likes to think that kits is a nice place to live da da da but really it's no different than anywhere, cept the price of coffee and every other thing that you need in your day is like twice the price. W 4th lunches were not cheap let me tell you.
People just like to shit on other people and especially when you are in the service and retail industry.

^ha ha ha that's EXACTLY what I do
(dude are you sure we're not some sort of gender-altered clone?) I like how when I'm kind, patient, smiling and I go waaaaaay out of my way to help them they gradually get more and more sheepish and by the end I know I have them feeling like a total piece of shit for being so mean to me. I used to argue with the assholes, but this way is soooooo much more satisfying.
