I like how when I'm kind, patient, smiling and I go waaaaaay out of my way to help them they gradually get more and more sheepish and by the end I know I have them feeling like a total piece of shit for being so mean to me.

I used to argue with the assholes, but this way is soooooo much more satisfying.

when I was a travel agent my manager used to joke that I could "kind" people to death. I have a back ground in telemarketing so I had t develop a bit of a thick skin. After that nothing could really bother me a sales environment where customers actually wanted to talk to me.

yea people sucks sometimes. Once a customer came in after closing and I told her sorry that the last tan was half an hour ago. She completely freaked out at me and said she wants to buy a package blah blah blah, I told her I had cashed out , but that we are open at 9am tomorrw if she wanted to come back and she just stormed out the door! On my way to the bus stop after work I say a bunch of Suncity brochures scattered on the ground...i knew it was the bitch that had thrown them there. Some people are so rude. I work 11 hour days, why should anyone expect me to stay after my hours to let them tan!?

It's so bad in the fast food industry. People think they can treat you like shit just because you make their food.

Anyway, I just started working at this place 2 weeks ago and my first day this guy asked for cigarettes. I couldnt find them right away [ It was my FIRST fucking day. ] and he's like THEY'RE RIGHT OVER THERE, [yelling at me] and I so badly wanted to say ' YEAH SO ARE THE OTHER 250 FUCKING CIGARETTES ' but I am too nice. :(

I kind of feel bad for Kits folk. Deep down they're just upset because they know they're regarded in Vancouver as second-class yuppies compared to Yaletowners.
