they had lots of warning about this night and they even had little cards in the store so women could write down exactly what they wanted and their guys could go in on their own and not screw anything up. free beer and gift wrapping, awesome. i was going to go, but i had to work :(
on second thought, omg i'm totally offended that they actually had cards where women could put what they wanted and make their boyfriends go buy them stuff. what kind of a world do we live in where that is promoted? fuck that

I get why it pissed you off Myrasauce. If it bothers you that much, voice your opinion directly to them by way of their website. Tell them specifically what bothered you and perhaps you may receive something as a result of providing this critical feedback!

all the girl had to say was a simple "sorry" and a sincere explanation , rather than LAUGH - and I'm sure that would have made the world of difference.
I've been werkin retail forevs, and thats no way to treat the customer. Her manager would probably throttle her if he/she knew that was her approach to clients.

I give myra one point for lulu lemon making it very inconvient to their majority of female costomers. I would of been pissed off, but not ofended.
I give lulu lemon 2 points... 1 Im sure a lot of males are intimidated to go into a lulu lemon shop. 2 Its a great marketing idea becuase they inviting guys to shop for their girls at their store... FREE WRAPING AND BEER! How would they not attract men to shop or their girls there. PS: Yeah I would of laughed at what the store person said and than walked right in.

What about that store on Davie street that only allows you in if you're ready to have a fashion expert expertly select an ensemble for you?
Me and a certain Gnu got stopped at the door by some poser in a castro hat. He explained the "rules" and stuff and me and my friend probably made some kind of "wtf" face as we walked away. From behind us we hear: "Robson street is 5 blocks that way, guys!" Sorry asshat, you seem to have mistaken us for something other than guys just looking for a nice, non pretentious store with cool clothes for us to look at and possibly buy. Sorry we weren't into becoming a model for your fashionista, and probably parting with large sums of $$$ for the privellege. Pretension doesn't come cheap, you know!

^^ Haha, I know that place, what a joke! Be prepared to spend like $500+ before walking out that door. The two owners of that place are stuck up and pretentious anyways with thier thousand dollar t-shirts (no joke)

I would have been offended at the sales person who was guarding the door, but I wouldn't have been offended with the sale. Girls have plenty of girls only shopping nights and considering this was a marketing scheme to get guys in there to buy stuff for their girlfriends, sisters and any other female they know that buys lulu... it's a good idea because hey at least the girl gets what she wants from lululemon.
I see your point, and I wold have been pissed of, but I don't think I would have thought twice about it the next day. They should have coached the sales associates on what to say and had signs posted next to them so even if they were morons, it wouldn't be mis-interpreted on the signs
