security tags on new clothes

Totally wished the cashier would snip off those sewn in security tags after purchase.

Felt like I was at an airport security check every time I walked into a retail store today.

The gap, banana republic, old navy all sew their security tags in their clothes, problem is they should take them out for you instead of just letting you wear them around.

Worked at a store and every time someone walked in I asked if they were wearing clothes from the gap and then promptly got the scissors and cut out theri tags

^^ Nice maybe, or just easier to track down someone if they are actually stealing or not...

It was only if they set it off in the first place. Cell phones and strollers set them off too so it's hard to tell and not exactly idiot proof

Don't video tapes set those things off as well? I vaguely recall setting one off like that once quite a while back.
