You should see my hair lady!
I'm in the process of going away from black towards blonde (I'm brown now yay!) and in the whole process my hair turns really coppery because of the hair remover and my radical hair lady lets me come in 1x a week to get it touched up for free if I like, she gets mad if I even try to tip her (though I always do!) let me know if you want her digits, I sent ashlee to her and she did a great job on her hair! I'm just so glad she's such a perfectionist with stuff! I would be pissssed if I was you because you probably paid too much for your inital visit. :( |

yes please myra. at this point i will travel from coquitlam to anywhere to have it look resonably normal again.
head bands and hats all the time aren't my thing. ps: yazdi mentioned you had lighter hair ;) erik: there is nothing natural or fitting about the way my hair looks. my eyebrows don't match, my face is completely washed out and i look as pale as a ghost. |

That really sucks and 4.5 hours!!! Thats ridiculousness, there wasn't a manager you could of talked to? I always wondered what happened if a hair dresser totally screwed up. I once had a friend who had blue streaks in her hair and went to get the colour out for a job. Maybe half of it came out and the rest turned green. She went to a salon to get it properly done because she knew it would of happened if she did it her self. She was really annoyed that she had to go back and pay for it to be done all over again.
Anyways I cant believe the guy never apologized or offered at least a discount for the mistake. Hair dressers should at least warn you if they think something may not turn out. Last edited by Ree Fresh; Mar 20, 07 at 10:32 PM. |

he said to me "myra always compliments me on my shirt or my hair! shes so nice!" do you know what her hours are by chance? much much much thanks. Rhia: yeah, he was a huuuuuuge jerk. Hes the "master stylist" of the salon, so he is kind of the boss. I didn't even think to ask, I was so flustered and upset. |

Well I guess all you can do now is never go back and tell all your friends about that place. Especially since you have been going for over 5 years. Dont worry we all have our salon horror stories. |

If he was smart, he would have asked if you had been blonde before, and if you had died it brown in the last year. If he was smart, he would have known you can't just go directly from brown to blonde, especially after major processing. If he was smart, he would have started by lightening your roots, then progressively moving down your roots after a few visits.
WOW DUDE. I haven't even been to hair school, and any idiot would know that blonde doesn't happen after one visit. I'm so sorry he fucked up your hair so badly :( You were SO excited too. I should refer you to my hair stylist. They fix anything, and they know their shit. *BIG HUGS TO MY SIS <3 * what an asshole!!! |

edit: I should also note that she took my hair from brassy blonde to a nicer, more natural blonde, and worked in low lights of my natural colour... in ONE go. I thought I'd have to go thru a cpl visits/processes to achieve my desired "more natural" look, but she did it. Annnnnd my hair isn't fried. We also tried out those sultry, long solid "doll" bangs that girls are starting to sport (this mischa in bebe ads or reese witherspoon recently), which was a BIG change! she said I can come back for bang trims, and if I find them too much maintenance/too big a change she can reshape them into side bangs. =) Last edited by veN; Mar 21, 07 at 10:53 AM. |

I died my hair green once going from blonde to brown on my own. It was aweful. I went to a salon in P.C and they fixed it $350.00 later. I made them turn it back to blonde and I haven't gone back since.
I want bangs but I don't trust people cutting my hair, I've had a horrible hair cut down once and they cut most my hair off and she kept saying "oops" |
