Fido

I know everyone has issues with their Cellular providor at one point or another, but Fido has just pissed me off for the last time.

I was Suppose to be out on a student plan that was $35 unlimited evs+ weekends, Unlimited incoming, caller id and 250 anytime minutes.

fuckers made me run around to get an ISIC card, fax it to them, blah blah. Then after all of that tell me that the plan is no longer offered anymore. iv spent hours on the phone with them, and just finished bitching at a supervisor for an hour.

Fuck you Fido, you just lost a customer, you fucking dusche bags.

I've had fido for 9 years of my life. I hate them, but in the long run they are cheapper than other companys.

It once took them 8 months for them to get my address right.

Fido's totally not as good for plans as they used to be. Everyone ripped off their unlimited incoming calls, and since Rogers took over, they haven't done a whole lot in terms of plans or phones. Telus has some good plans lately. They have an unadvertised plan called EPP1730 that, with the SAF and 911 charge put in, comes to $25 + tax. For that, you get 200 daytime, unlimited evenings/weekends at 6pm, and voicemail. Throw in the Spark 10 bundle: products & services / SPARK / how do I get SPARK? / add a SPARK bundle - TELUS Mobility - British Columbia, and you've got a better and cheaper plan than Fido. I'm about to drop Fido myself pretty soon. Their customer service I've found is mediocre. I actually really liked Telus, I should've never switched.

If you have been with Fido for a while though, you can call Customer Service, ask to speak with retentions, and they should be able to give you a deal similar to that Telus one. The most common one I've heard is basically everything in that Telus deal, but 250 minutes for $20. Unlimited incoming can be added, and if you've been with them long, you could possibly get a free bundle, or discounts on the plan for the duration of a contract, or caller ID, something extra for free.

i used Fido for about 2 years and i couldn't stand them.

my bills were always incorrect , there customer service was even worse and the coverage was just pathetic.

PwInCeSs is on a distinguished road
I still use fido, i have the CIty fido plan still and have never had issues. Both me and my husband have it, so we dont need a house phone witch works well for me and him. Its cheap and unlimited talk.
Although there new plans seem to suck.
