I can't stand the smell of...
Durian. It's the spikey, yellow fruit, that you'd find in asian markets. It wrieks of a distinct smell that you can't escape until you eat it. because then you'd stink like it too. They call it "dessert". My mom bought one and we have left overs sitting in my fridge. Every time I open it I have to smell it. I'm afraid it will taint the flavor of everything else in the fridge. I can't believe there's an ice cream flavored after the stuff...
Since i'm on the topic... I also hate Stinky Tofu. Any of you guys know what that is? The people who eat it LOVE IT. Everyone around the people eating it HATE IT. And the last thing from asia that I don't like the smell of is Doong Gu. ... The Portabello Mushroom looking things that I usually see dried out. My mom would soak them in water and the smell... that unique aroma... aiyah.. |

UGH.
I went shopping with my bosses one time and they picked up a durian fruit..I was sitting in the backseat and the smell of the durian from behind me, made me sooo sick. As soon as I got out of the car I threw up. It was awful. That would def be a smell I can't stand. I also hate the smell of rain on a warm day, or the smell of gumbo. |
