And wood - you might think that doing such major genre jumps wouldn't sound good, but he wasn't doing it TOO often, and actually already had planned out how those transitions would work... and they worked. Even though sometimes going from a house beat (fast) to a hip-hop beat (slow), sorta would ruin the mood for me... I would still appreciate the fact that he actually spent the time trying to figure out how those types of transitions would work, and actually make them work. But pre-mixed tracks are definitely NOT cool. :notrust: |

If I watch a movie and part of it sucks, I don't say "I didn't like that part"... I say "I didnt like that movie". Quote:

hmmm lets see... in a wood'n'soo set you'd quite likely hear: hip hop - lots house - daft punk, solid groove, rephrase, lots more euro pop - new order, depeche mode, yaz, kano, kraftwerk rnb - labelle, james brown, sam & dave dubstep - skream, loefah, the bug yep pretty sure there's been a set or two with all those genres definitely a little different than what i imagined from Firewire's description tho :cheesy: |

ha ha ha, I mighta been a bit quick on the gun with that. I guess just judging by his description it kind of painted a picture of some clown who was throwin together a spastic mess featuring all the worst current top 40 mixed with RAVE. |

Just because it's being discussed doesnt mean it keeps anyone awake at night. If I can't post about frivolous annoyances here, where else? |
