First thing first,
More trouble with DJing.
Jungle, has well, launched an attack against me. A brutal well done, well worded attack. Both Xtcity, and Lounge X have just finished a flame war of, Jungle Vs Happy Hardcore. And might I say it was probably the most pitiful thing I have seen in a while.
On the side of Hardcore: Me, a cross dresser, another hardcore Dj and a few others who loved the fact I can't mix. and this comedy bit about MC's.
On the side of Jungle: Some people with Valid Complaints such as:
It wasn't broken beats (Ie it was in 4/4 time rather than 3/4 time)
It wasn't jungle (this was ultimatly the stupidest complaint....)
You move too much during your set (Now this was pretty close to being the stupidest complaint. But I guess I made the jib techs jelous)
You can't mix (duh.)
This match didn't get on pay per view, or anything. but still it was fun. I had a blast even though I was the center of the debate and was getting flamed quite a bit.
What I find most humorus is the fact that well, damn... none of the responses actually went beyond stereotypes.
Junglist were: "Happy hardcore is dumb!"
Happy Hardcore peeps were: "Happy Hardcore is dumb! Live with it!"
The age old debate:
"My message board is better then your message board you newbie."
Yeah I know this has been done before but lets face it, in vancouver (i doubt international people will EVER read my page), all the message boards are diffrent. None is better then another one. And lets face it, there god damn message boards!
Lounge X: INFORMATION. SIMPLY INFO. Sure lounge X started it all, but recently it has become more info then anything else.
Xtcity.com: Gawd, that name just pisses me off. But that really can be forgotten after a while. The average age is around 15-16. So High school tendencies are everywhere. Often spawning popularity contests. But hey, I post there so fuck it.
Form & Kaos: The newest. Pretty good, kinda a in between of the two. The one problem is a lot of the people there are "newbies" whatever that means..... I don't have any problem with this, but when every party review is about A: the plazza or B: Some 5-2am party... then well damn. Other then that everyone seems pretty good.
Bro's before hoe's!
A few days ago I got in a conflict with a friend about this. Needless to say, Much Music has taught me well
First thing I attack, MC's.
I know there are good mc's but, there are also bad Mc's.... A lot of Bad Mc's. SO many Bad mc's that they seem to some how make it into shows and find a mic and fuck things up. If you think it's bad having one while you dance, try while you dj. Try Djing happy hardcore, and having a jungle Mc rhyme about how good jungle is...
In the lack of a better word it's dumb, stupid and utterly utterly annoying.
I have a team mate though, the worst MC i could find, he dosen't rhyme, he trys to offend people, and he often tells the crowd how much of a bunch of pussies they are. My Mc is.... Mc Fucking Raver.
Mc Fucking Raver has, for lack of a better word, balls. More then most mc's. at the last show I played, i was told if I brought him on again I wouldnt be allowed to play again. I think for the lack of a better word, jungalist hate me and my MC
Next is: The transformers movie
I bought this today at a flea market for 5 bux. I remeber back in Nova Scotia I loved this damn movie, And I still do, it's just. Well fuck, it's stupid sometimes! I mean fuck! I won't even go into the problems, but why is it things are never as good as you remeber.
Next: Girls
The ladies, the ladies, they just don't make sense. Why isn't there a little indicator on there forehead? Green means go, red means stop, that's all I need... Green means I like this, Red means stop or I grab your nuts and shove them in your throat. I'm not having girl problems, but this indicator would be a cool idea.
