how about fuck the police officers sitting in their car outside the club while my car was stolen. they cant make a report for me? I mean seriously wtf is wrong with someone when they just look at you and say "what do you want us to do about it." I just killed 4 guys and did serveral lines of meth, does that get your attention? Its been over 2 years and im still fucking pissed off that the most they would do is give me a phone number and tell me to call it.

I've had my car stolen twice in surrey, each time it was found 3 days later with the stereo and some things stolen out of it. If i win the lottery i swear im going to be a bat mobile type of alarm system, you know the one that covers the entire car? I cant even leave my car alone for 1 hour in BC without worrying about it getting stolen.

But on a happy note, im glad that i was able to contribute to the Fucking Useless Coke Kid of Fucktopia Foundation, or as i like to call it, FUCK OFF

I wonder where in east van you live..

Just because I know in my neighbourhood there is a bunch of kids (yeah, literally KIDS) who steal cars that are like 12-19.

Anyways, if your car dependant and transit is not a viable option, until you get a rental, I'd cab everywhere and save the reciepts.

i had it parked near the bcaa building on canada way. i was filming down the road for most of the night, and when i came back to the lot, it was gone.

i know, I had my truck stolen.....twice. but on the THIRD time, me and some friends were comin back from the bar...and what did i see? some basehead slidin a slimjim down my window!!! well needless to say, he received a barrage of drunken street justice...lol, the cop bitched at me and my friends for kickin the shit out of the dude... yeah car thiefs suck

My vehicle got stolen a few years back, the first thing that went through my mind was "I hope it doesn't turn up", because quite honestly that's the best thing that can happen. CAR MIA = INSURANCE CLAIM = DOORWAY TO NEW RIDE.

A few months ago someone stole my friends car from near the college in Abbotsford - he was carelesss and left it running while he went into a store to get a coffee. Car was recovered a few days later in Mission in front of a crack house, minus work tools, engine damaged. He found a receipt inside the car in the name of one of the crack house guys, who were known car thieves - cops would not do anything, said the evidence not good enough!

Someone also stole another friends car from inside his garage on the next street to me, in daylight, they were punks. The car was found outside another drug house, and the cops figured they were gonna use it to take stolen goods to Vancouver and then sell everything. Funny thing is I was checking out that house cuz it has a bad rep and a few days earlier my place was burglarized and they got my Dell 4500 computer.

The cops said even if they caught these guys they would be out of jail in a few days or weeks.

Yes we were really mad, but what can you do if you can't get your hands on the creeps? :sick:

That really sucks!

That's exactly why I dont want to mod my car, it will just get stolen. But its sad you cant have nice stuff without it getting ripped off.

Hopefully you kept your receipts for everything, ICBC has to replace it if you have exact logs of everything you've done to your car.

i have receipts for everything, except a few things from my stereo. anyone got a reciept for a cd deck and an amp? i must have lost mine in one of my moves over the last year.

and yeah, the cops said it was someone who had a flatbed truck and a tow truck. i have an engine kill and wheel lock alarm, and they still got it. the cops said they must have towed it to a garage, jacked my shit, and then trucked it over to the place they found it. cause all my windows and sunroof where open, but everything was dry. and it was pouring rain all night. so it had to be dropped off in the morning. pros no doubt. they even left my stereo brain, cause you can not install it without the right entry code. fuckers knew what they were doing.

These guys sound like pros so this may not apply to you
but an alarm system is the best thing you can do

Over the years I've known a lot of people who do this kind of stuff as if it were a business (I'm sure they'll do just great in life)
That little red light flashing inside the car will scare off 90% of would be thieves

A lot of times when they're stealing stero's they'll hit up a niehborhood or an underground parking lot. They want to get 10 or so cars within walking distance so any noice an alarm would make is not wanted
