fawking oww!
I started playing soccer again for the first time in 3 years, i also havent exersized since then. A day later and my legs hurt even when im not moving them. I had 4 really good back massages since the game and there is still more knots in my back than there is bones in my spine. This is what i get for wasting the last 3 years infront of a computer.

haha..that was like me last week.
In the name of stress relief, all the employees in my dept were taken off of work to go play beach volleyball (for some strange reason my office has a sand v-ball court behind it?). We played for a good few hours..and it was tons of fun. However, the next morning it took me 5 minutes just to get out of bed..i was SO sore (not to mention my arms were all bruised up..looked very attractive :sick: ) |

I just joined a volleyball league after three years of not having anything to do with the sport. Needless to say, the first game was rough. It was even worse when I couldn't walk down a flight of stairs for a good four days after. [I didn't stretch at all beforehand!] The insides of my arms were also covered with broken blood vessels and bruises for days due to the fact that I can't clot blood very well at the moment.
I stretched properly and wore long sleeves this week, though. I think it's great that you're getting back into the whole team sport thing. Not only is it a great way to get some exercise, it's also a really good way to meet and interact with new people. |
