cures for coughin?

so i have this pretty bad cough, its been kickin around for about 3 weeks or more now, and im on a puffer to calm it down. but its terrorizing my throat, and i get these crazy attacks that dont stop.

does anyone have a cure\quick cure for this? lemon tea drys my throat out making it worse... and i donno what else to try.

i tried john but they dont work... and the fishermans friends makes me cough...

i donno what to do, ice cream helps but only until my thorat warms up again.

nope ive already been to her, she just says keep using th puffer, so i do. its like a dry-i-have-something-in-my-throat cough.

If you're coughing late at night, it could be asthma. Things like the weather, exposure to more allergens, etc. make it reaaaal bad.

Stay on the puffer, use as directed.


Or, buckleys night formula does the trick.

(I've been in the same boat for weeks, gotta get tested for various lung things soon...)

unless you're a smoker, that could be the reason.. (I'm not.. so maybe we're in the same circumstance..)

no i dont smoke. and i dont really like taking cough medicine.

my brother and my mom both have asthma... which is slowly becoming a concern to me. cuase yah it is at night and when i lie down and only started when it got cold... hmmm...

its nothing serious, im just tired from lack of sleep and just want something to either stop the hacking or sooth my throat

I'd pick up some of the buckley's night forumla then...I'm going through the samre thing and that seems to alleviate night coughing as well as put me to sleep..

i've got this nasty cough from when i was sick and it's going away soooo slowly. ugh. i hate it. i get cough attacks where i'm coughing so much i can't breath and then i get dizzy. :\

sadly, i have no tips.

Halls + Vick's VapoRub on ur chest and back should definately help when you're trying to fall asleep but can't cuz of stupid coughing.

echineacha (good good my spelling!!) spray for throats , vick's vapo rub (my uncle used to eat it and swear it works wonders...but I don't know about that)...I just put it on my chest.

Lemon tea dries out your throat?? All kinds?

yah mostly its just the codl stuff on my throat that helps, sweet stuff just enhances the coughing. i am returning once more to the doctor tomorow. oh dear....
