Unnecessary competition

I hate it, I absolutely HATE IT!!!
It's so childish, I thought I wouldn't have to deal with any of this crap after Elementary school.

I mean.. there's competition.. healthy competition that makes you strive against something or someone in order to achieve something or makes yourself work harder.. and then there's useless competition that just makes you upset and stressed out and takes away from your well-being.

I almost quit the production I'm in yesterday because there's a girl who is constantly trying to upstage me because originally she wanted the part I got. She likes the guy that plays my boyfriend IN THE PLAY and takes it all literal and tries to compete with me, it's ridiculous. If we're doing a scene she tries to distract him, so that he misses his lines and screws up his blocking.
I have no one and nothing to compete with, I compete against my own standards of what's good and what's not and that's enough for me, I don't need any fucking distractions.

Fuck drama!

Well I threw a hissy fit yesterday and screamed at her because she was being SO rude. Our dance choreographer almost quit and walked out and she thought it was funny so I freaked out and told her to stop being so immature.
I could fight her, but I don't want to stoop to her level, usually I'm really good at that whole "grin and bear" act but yesterday it caught up.. I should just act totally nonchalant and leave her groveling in her own jealousy.
