Just went through the same thing. If its a reputable place they need a paper trail, and the formal interview is usually mandatory.

yeah same here. have to go through the whole process and a bunch of tests. and then the owner wants to see me in action (bartending), ive worked at this place for a year, doing other junk. wierd.
