i just had a bunch of ravers (& Azim) hangin around in the front of my shop.... after they leave, i walk around the counter and what do i see..... candy, all over my freshly swept floor. not a word of bs. the ravers left a trail of candy. i'm not even talking candy wrappers here, there were actual gummy candies all over the floor.

That's a damn short lifespan. Considering PLUM was invented in... what.... 90? 91? Between there you need it to be turned into PLUR and then devised as a general password amongst ravers, spread out across north america and whatnot. Then it needed to be considered "no longer cool." Then you need a resurgence in the "Retro" phase. Then it'll proceed to be cool for approximately 10 months and then officially be dead.

and when I was a kandy kid I never preached about plur... I don't even believe in peace, or love.

Um... The concept? What concept? The Peace Love Unity Respect thing was being used all over the place through till about 99 pretty thoroughly. But on the most part, when it was used in the rave scene, PLUR was more a password than a concept.... Do some more homework.

PLUR never existed. It was originally a philosophy Frankie Bones talked a lot about and eventually became this code between ravers... hand someone a flyer, say "PLUR" so they know that it's a rave. People say to the geeks and outcasts "Fuck you", they reply "PLUR"... let them figure it out...

The "oldschool" died around 92. But I wouldn't necessarily say that the whole PLUR thing died with it... It just went underground. And eventually, as all the people the outcasts were avoiding went to raves and said "PLUR", they'd reply with "Fuck PLUR"... Let them figure it out....

If PLUR as a concept was ever alive it still is today. It's just not going to be found at the Plaza Of Nations.
